Title Joshua Project - Victory through prayer!
Contents
The Joshua Project, which depicts the process of conquering the land of Canaan, is like a wonderful work that God accomplished through him. Joshua was convinced of the conquest of the land of Canaan when others who returned from spying on the Promised Land predicted a tragic end. He was a person who went forward with faith and courage to dedicate himself to the conquest of Canaan, which God had promised. He is a person who has achieved victory by obediently obeying God's word and expecting God to accomplish it through him. Through the Joshua Project today, we hope that there will be a history of victory in our lives as well.
1. Appearance of Joshua (Numbers 10:11-12), successor of Moses
2. Joshua's Conquest of Canaan
1) Entering Canaan
2) Conquest of Canaan: The east side was captured first, and the central-south-north regions were seized in that order. And the results were reported to God.
And finally, with Joshua's will and death that emphasized absolute obedience to God, his ministry ends. Considering the result of the conquest of Canaan for about 7 years, it shows the important fact that God was in command of all the wars.
3. Principles of the Joshua Project - Take three strategies.
1) First, spy out the area to be occupied and the land.
2) Let a new era and the history of liberation arise.
3) Pray for the people in the area where I live and take responsibility for them.
* Reported to God first.
* Trust in God who gives to those who ask.
*In God, I found the vision and dream that He gave me.
* Believed, asked, and prayed.
* Made the impossible possible.
The season of Lent is approaching. This year, more and more prayers are waiting for us. In order to achieve the kingdom of God and to triumph through the cross, we must make the decision to pray. Nothing can be done without prayer. Prayer is the best equipment and preparation in every field we can do. The better you live your faith life, the more dreams you have, and the more you want to do great things, the more you need to pray. The more you pray, the more you trust God.
In particular, early morning prayer is a precious time to experience God's miracles. Christianity is the religion of dawn. It's time to start a new day. Even if there has been a wrong path so far, start anew through early morning prayer. The time of the birth and resurrection of Jesus, the parting of the Red Sea, the time of Abraham going up to Mount Moriah, and the fall of Jericho is the dawn. Why did so many people of prayer wake up at dawn and cry out and pray? This is because at dawn, the work of renewal of heart and repentance took place, the family standing upright, and the work of starting anew with strength. Joshua was a man who believed in the power of that prayer.
Only prayer can protect our family and protect our souls and our faith. Prayer is the only force that moves Almighty God. When you pray, great and wonderful things happen. Prayer opens the way and interprets life's obstacles. We hope that this Lenten season will be a time to experience the cross of Jesus Christ through the time of prayer and prayer.
