Let's recover!
Judges 15:15-20
Today's text is that Samson, one of the three great judges, had a great victory by killing the enemy Philistines with a single donkey jaw, but when he was exhausted and dying of thirst, he cried out to God. The contents of how Samson drank this water and his mind was restored and revived by touching . Now, I hope that even in our weary lives, we will recover and revive and make a new history
1. God gives rest to those who have worked hard. (15-18)
Since you have defeated a great enemy with your own strength, the grants rest to those who have done so much and accomplishes the work of restoration. Workers need a break. Therefore, if you do your best not to miss the given time and do your best, give him rest and revive. “You will rest in the dark night, keep your office… The night when I cannot work is coming soon,” we sing. really good words. You must work as best you can before the time when you cannot work. now is then We've been doing our best in early morning prayer for the past week. Last night, those who practiced hymns on Saturday for the Easter morning service and those who prepared for the presentation. There are some who have stayed at church. I believe that He will restore spirit and body through true rest because we have worked hard.
2. Recovered and revived through prayer (18-19)
When life becomes weary and weary and weary, let go of the human way and cry out to God. Jeremiah 33:3 God answers those who cry (Jeremiah 33:3) Isaiah 41:17 When we pray that our tongue is dry, God answers. We believe that if God answers, we will be restored and revived. We believe that God, who hears Samson's prayer and provides a spring of water, will hear our prayers.
A person faces various difficulties in life. You may be anxious when you meet a crisis due to business problems, upset with your children's problems, become discouraged by conflicts in human relationships, and suffer from an uncertain future. Do not fail every time you try to do it with your own thoughts and methods, and pray to Almighty God. Samson confessed salvation by God's power, not his own, and tried to fulfill that mission by calling himself a servant. He regretted that the glory of God was hidden more than his own death. It is the right prayer to ask for what God wants, not for what you want. God answered. Do not be confused by my greed and emotions, but have deep fellowship (prayer) asking God for His will so that you can receive the blessing of restoration and revival. wind
3. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit through faith, we are restored and revived. (19-20)
It would have been of no use if the spring water had not been drank. Samson drank the spring water and was restored to life. Likewise, when you are filled with the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ, you can accomplish a new work with new strength and power. Jesus said in John 4:13-14, “Whoever drinks the water of the world will thirst again, but whoever drinks the water I will give him will never thirst. The water I will give him will become in him a spring of water springing up to eternal life.” John 6:35 “Whoever believes in me will never thirst.” John 7:37-39 “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture says, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water, for the feet of those who believe in him. was speaking of the Holy Spirit.”
The word to drink is to believe, and the river of living water refers to the Holy Spirit. I hope to be filled with the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ to find the blessings of God that have been lost and to become believers who fulfill the work of reviving the withered and dying souls. While Samson was being bound, all the cords were cut when he was filled with the power of God, the Holy Spirit (verse 14). I pray that he will be filled with the Holy Spirit and become free and become capable of making the impossible possible.
We need to rediscover and revive God's grace in a life that can be weary and weary. From now on, don't just try to rest your body, but remember that God will give rest to those who have done a lot of work. Don't fail while trying to do it with my own strength and talent, and I hope that you will find a way to go in deep fellowship with God and become people of prayer who can do what they need to do. So, I pray that the will of the Lord will be fulfilled and that he will be filled with the Holy Spirit through faith just as Samson drinks from a spring, so that he can recover and be revived as a warrior who fulfills God's work once again.
