1. Jesus Christ, the Son of God in the Trinity
(1) Jesus’ words about his relationship with God
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
He is God
John 10:30 I and the Father are one.
① With this in mind, Calvin said in Christian
“The Word was born of God out of time, and was with God forever.
In this way the Word is eternal, and by its true essence is confirmed its divinity."
② Bible verses
Romans 9:5 ... Christ was born of them, who is above all, to be praised throughout the ages. Amen.
(2) To believe in Jesus Christ is to believe in God.
John 12:44 Jesus cried out, saying, He who believes in me does not believe in me, but he who sent me believes.
John 5:24 ... Whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
(3) Seeing Jesus Christ
John 12:45 He who sees me sees the one who sent me.

Joh 14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me?
Hebrews 1:3 This is the splendor of the glory of God, the image of his very nature.
2. Jesus Christ who came as light
John 12:46 I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me should not dwell in darkness.
(1) It refers to the light of truth, the light that leads us to righteousness.
*Jesus Christ is the light of truth.

(2) The light that illuminates the darkness of sin
John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light.
This is in order that the act will be exposed.
3. About Judgment
John 12:47 If a man hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
(1) The saying that Jesus does not judge means that the meaning of [First Coming] is not judgment, but His coming for salvation.
① Bible verses
John 3:17 God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world
that the world might be saved through him
(2) Points to remember in the referee
①It seems like it is always normal, but the last day is sure to come.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and in that day the heavens will depart with a loud noise, and the body will be dissolved with heat, and the earth and all that is on it will be revealed.

Soon my words will judge me on the last day.

4. About Eternal Life

John 12:50 I know that his commandment is eternal life. Therefore, what I speak, I speak just as my Father spoke to me.
(1) Eternal life
①Eternal life is the word of eternal life, and it is connected with the [Kingdom of God] of the synoptic gospel.
In other words, it means a life suitable for [the coming generation], not the present generation. Therefore, it means possessing an endless life that can enter the kingdom of heaven.
John 5:24
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:25
Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
