Today, on December 27, 2008, I congratulate you on the wedding ceremony of Prayet-gun and Ms. Ung under God's grace, and I pray that God's blessings be with them both. I often say that life is a stranger. Life is also often said to be encounters, sharing, abandonment, and joy. Abraham, the father of faith, left his hometown and relatives and lived as a stranger for the rest of his life. Even Moses, the savior of Israel, left his parents and hometown since he was a baby and lived a life of a stranger. Jesus also left the glory of heaven and came to this world to live a life of a stranger. Praet-gun and Ung, who are getting married today, have left their hometown and relatives to come to Korea and live as strangers.

The bride confessed her love for the groom like this: “I thank God for leading me to my brother. I love him. Often I wondered if he really loved me or if he was just saying he likes me as a joke or if there was some other reason. cared for and loved me like a little brother. So I came to recognize him. When we get married, we live as a married couple. There will be difficulties because we are alone. I am a soft-hearted and timid woman. Please understand my work and be kind to me. You are my husband. You are a leader. So please protect me. Oppa, forgive me when I do something wrong. I love you. Because you love God a lot and God I think that my brother loves me as he loves God, and I also love him. I pray that God's grace will fill me and my brother. Let's walk together. We are one family in Jesus Christ. Blessing do." It is a confession of pure and beautiful love.

I often say that life is a stranger and meeting, and that life is sharing. Now the two of you want to share everything with each other. We want to share joy and sorrow together, share what we eat and drink, share what we think, feel and decide, and share what we work and live with. When we share everything with each other, our feelings of gratitude and love for each other will deepen.

I also often say that life is abandonment. In order to truly share, we must forsake ourselves. Of course it is difficult. Jesus said that he lay down his life for the sheep. Because the real person is in giving up. When you forsake your own interests, your peace, your own hobbies, and your rights for the sake of the other person, your feelings of gratitude and love for each other will deepen, become warmer and more beautiful.

I often say that, after all, life is joy. This is because true joy will eventually come when life is a life of a stranger and a life of encounter, sharing, and abandonment. Joy comes from the life of a stranger. Joy comes from a life of encounter. Joy comes from a life of sharing. Joy comes from a life of abandonment. Praet-Gun and Ms. Ung, who are getting married today, met God and met their spouses while living as strangers in Korea. I hope that you will enjoy true joy and happiness by living a life of sharing and throwing away from now on.
