Title Know How to Receive Love

<Don't show yourself>

A man cannot be justified by his works. For example, is it any good for a murderer to kill someone and then torture him for the rest of his life? Ultimately, sin must be resolved by God. As human beings cannot fully repay the price for such sins, God opened the way for us to forgive sins through the atonement of Jesus on the cross. After all, God's solution to human sin is forgiveness.

The principle of the gospel is “Yes! I believe!” and accept it. However, some people show their pride even before God. "God! How can you be justified without doing anything?” At the same time, I think to myself, “If I act like this, I will be righteous.” As I act, I feel more proud of myself before God. Would God take such an action more proudly and like it? no. God hates human pride even more. In fact, such a human appearance ignores the power of the cross.

Today, the saying “just do it” is spreading like a fad. But when it's misused, it leads to a really stupid life. Psalm 127:1 says this. “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain, and unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” In other words, it says, “You cannot do it without God.”

Napoleon said, "Nothing is impossible in my dictionary." It's like kids jumping off a skyscraper saying, "I'm Superman," after watching a Superman cartoon. The more inexperienced a person is, the less he/she can distinguish what he can do. People who speak like Napoleon think they're great, but they're actually out of spiritual infancy.

< Know how to be loved >

In fact, the apostle Paul spoke similarly to Napoleon. “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” When the Apostle Paul said, “Everything is possible!”, Napoleon said, “Nothing is impossible!” However, the premise is different. Napoleon's premise is "in my dictionary!", but the Apostle Paul's premise is "in him who strengthens me!"

Even in the matter of the law, those who can keep the law on their own are incompetent, and since they cannot do anything without God, those who have faith to hold on to God eventually become powerful. Even the Pharisees at first tried to keep the law. Their spirits were right, but they gradually fell down the road.

Why did you fall? After all, because of pride. As they kept the law, they gradually wanted to brag. So instead of praying in the closet, I raised my hands and prayed on the street where many people walked. Also, in order to show how much he meditates on the Law day and night, he wrote the Law on his clothes and hung it around his head and wore it around his forehead. He even wore a barrel of the law like wearing a watch, and the doorposts of the house were also covered with the law.

Such an attitude had erratic results. In other words, they went in the opposite direction to the fundamental spirit of the law that they wanted to keep. The purpose of God's law is to make us realize that we are sinners. However, because he boasted about keeping the law well, his purpose was reversed, and the more he kept the law, the more he began to think that he was a righteous person rather than a sense that he was a sinner.

When you realize that you are a sinner, you say, “God! They hold on to God, saying, “I can’t do it alone.” But the Pharisees became proud and did not hold onto God and said, “I am a righteous man! Well done!” He said and distanced himself from God. Do not present yourself before God. When God calls with love and grace, he simply says, “Yes! Thank you.” and go to God. Knowing how to love is important, but knowing how to be loved is also important.
