Genesis 22:1-14
[Edward M. Hallowell] wrote the book, American Psychiatrist Specializing in Attention Deficit Disorder. In this book, modern people are suffering from eunwa, which is clearly diagnosed as a level of disease that needs to be treated. In fact, the mind of many modern people is engulfed in anxiety if they do not have a mobile phone in their hand, and there are many people who cannot leave the computer because they are addicted to cyberspace such as games or the Internet. So, I am living with my attention and concentration stolen, and I point out a few symptoms.
The first is that the problem is that you can't wait and rush too much. In particular, modern people are becoming more and more impatient as they get used to the digital environment that values speed. Not being able to wait even time to ponder and study makes you unhappy. I wish I could wait a little longer, but they judge too quickly and talk too quickly. All life itself is based on speed. This is the problem.
When you try to do everything you see and hear, none of them work. So [Hellowell] says that creative thoughts arise in a disconnected space. It is said that the investment genius [Warren Buffett], who competes for the world's richest person, sits at a desk without a computer and makes tens of millions of dollars in investment decisions. [Bill Gates] also spends a week cut off from the outside world (Think Weekend) in a secluded villa to plan Microsoft's future strategy. When judging life or death, it shows that you absolutely need uninterrupted time and space to focus on just that one thing. After all, what this means is that for such a creative and productive life, having the concentration to cut off unnecessary information is what it means.
The third cause of modern people's loss of attention and concentration is that worries and fears piled up like all sorts of rubbish have become commonplace. Isn't there a saying, "Let's sell our worries"? I quote this proverb when buying a worry that I don't have to worry about, but what about another interpretation? "If you do it, you become a habit." It means that worrying has become a lifelong destiny because I bought it and did it. So I'm worried about everything. I worry about this and that and that and that. I was so worried that I couldn't concentrate and lost my attention. that this is the problem.
Actually we are. How many thoughts, worries, conflicts and worries are you living with? If I had to put it down in an instant, I couldn't figure out what to put down first. How many things do you have that you can't put down because it's precious and that you can't put down because you're anxious? Because to let go is to let go. It is a declaration of giving up. So where would it be easier?

Gentlemen, obedience by covering only what is said is not obedience. True obedience is only when you obey what is impossible to say. If you want to receive the blessing of Jehovah Jireh, put down what you put down first. The problem is our beliefs. No matter how frustrating things are, it is a matter of how much faith you live. The problem is how loudly you listen to God's voice without looking at the environment. There is something God is telling me to put down today. God's grace will come only if we put it down, and as long as we are holding it without letting go of it, what should we do if God has not given us a bigger gift even after preparing it?
