Title Let's Be a Loyal Worker (December 6, 2009)
Contents
Word: 1 Tim 1:12~17
Topic: Let's Be Loyal Workers
12. I give thanks to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, that he counted me faithful and entrusted me with his ministry
13. I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a rapist, but on the contrary, I received mercy, because I acted ignorantly in unbelief.
14. The grace of our Lord abounds abounding with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
15. This is a faithful saying, worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Among sinners, I am the chief.
16. But the reason I received mercy is that Jesus Christ first showed me all patience, so that afterward I might set an example for those who believe in him and have eternal life.
17. To the King of all ages, the incorruptible, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

When God wants to use people, he sees their faithfulness. God chooses and appoints faithful people.
First, a faithful person is one who obeys Christ Jesus in a stewardship role.
He who loved us even to the point of giving Himself is righteous, and there is no injustice, no falsehood, no contradiction. There should be no resentment and gratitude for our work for Him who is perfect. And when we do, we have a reward. We must be loyal to God, who has absolute sovereignty, believing that He is our Lord.
Second, loyalty is
1. It is 'to become a person you can trust'.
Loyalty is total trust in the master and being trusted at the same time. Abraham had no children, so he tried to adopt Eliezer as his successor. Later, he trusted Eliezer and entrusted everything to him for the wife of his son Isaac. Eliezer was a man who had the absolute trust of Abraham. Abraham believed in Eliezer, and Eliezer also believed in Abraham. A life of trust is a life of loyalty. We must be faithful workers because we live a life of total trust in God.
2. It is a 'life that follows one's everything'.
Loyalty includes the meaning of following me with all that I have. Because I trust and love you, I can follow you with all my might. Our relationship with God is a relationship of trust and a relationship of love. There is nothing in vain in God's work. Therefore, we must do our best in all the work of the Lord.
[If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.] As Romans says, this confession should be our confession. God's work is never easy. However, we must become all of us who feel the supreme happiness that only believers can feel while looking at the beautiful fruit that will come from that, God's reward.
3. It is 'faithfulness'.
Loyal people are faithful people. These are people who know how to keep their place and do their best in that place. Above all, we must be faithful to worship. Worship is the beginning of loyalty. God created us to receive worship and established the church. Worship is a precious thing we should offer faithfully and with joy.
Loyalty is the confession, role, and mission of a sincere person. When we know the meaning of loyalty and are sincere in our faithfulness, we can also receive great joy from God.
When we are faithful in small things, God entrusts us with big things. When we go forth faithfully, God brings us great joy and gives us the reward of the kingdom of God. I hope that all Sandoll saints will be able to enjoy the precious joy that comes from loyalty through zeal and loyalty.
