Title Let's bear fruit / Matthew 7:15-29
Content Today, I want to share grace with each other under the title "Let's bear fruit." First of all, we want to bring forth abundant fruit in our hearts by welcoming the abundant autumn.
Since spring, many have sowed seeds. It must have taken the labor and effort of the sower until the seeds so sown became stalks and produced many fruits. So, when you look at the fruit, everyone's heart is satisfied and happy. Last week, when I went up to the nursery, I saw chestnuts on the chestnut tree bearing fruit and bearing fruit. I was truly happy and filled with joy. In particular, this autumn weather has suffered a lot of damage due to unusual temperatures and unexpected typhoons. I saw on TV that the rice fell and sprouted and the farmers were devastated. Our faith hopes that even when a typhoon suddenly blows and storms come, we will not be shaken and build a house on the rock and build a strong and strong house of faith.
1. If there are no fruits, take them.
In Matthew 3:10 it says, "The ax is already at the root of the trees; every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire." The ax is the judge. Our Jesus came to save us, and when He comes again, He will save those who believe and cut down those who do not believe with the ax of judgment. In the days of Noah, God judged those who disobeyed God with water. In Luke 13:9, it says, "After this, if the fruit is open, it is continued; otherwise, cut it off." The parable of Jesus is recorded, "Cut down the fig tree because it does not bear fruit." The owner who endured for one year and endured for three years eventually told him to cut it off. God is still waiting for us to bear fruit.
2. Even if we bear fruit, let us not become chaff.
When I looked at the farm this year, there was a lot of chaff, so the farmers had a hard time. Since the chaff has no fruit, it is thrown out of the house and burned. In Matthew 3:12 it says, "He will take the helm in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gather the wheat into the barn, and burn the chaff with unquenchable fire." Here, the unquenchable fire is Revelation 20:14 and 15, where death and Hades were also thrown into the lake of fire, which is the second death, the lake of fire. Whosoever was not written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” We will be thrown into hellfire. It was a terrible judgment. Let us bear fruit, but not chaff, but become the wheat. In the chorus of Hymn 260, "Reap, and reap, with joy, you will reap, you will reap, you will reap with joy. There is a hymn called “I hope that you will reap a lot of fruit in this bountiful autumn.
3. Even if we bear fruit, let us bear good fruit.
disturb and contaminate. It's destructive. Grain bows his head and is humble and serves as a role model for many people. We, too, need to check our faith once again to see if we have become chaff and have hurt or harmed others. That's why Galatians 5:19 says, "The works of the flesh are remarkable: fornication, uncleanness, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, envy, anger, selfishness, strife, heresy, drunkenness, debauchery." said. These people said, "You will not inherit the kingdom of God." But as for the good fruit, Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.” . These fruits were produced by the apostle Paul, Stephen, and Philip.
tied The Apostle Paul confessed that before that, I was “an assaulter, a wrecker, and a persecutor, but now I have become an apostle of love that cannot be separated from the love of Jesus Christ. Good fruit means a transformed life. Be cleansed in the name of Jesus Christ, It is to live a life like a child of God. The fruit of the Holy Spirit can be produced when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. There is a hymn in the gospel hymn that says, "Receive the Holy Spirit, receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus says to me Hallelujah I have received the Holy Spirit There is a song called ". We want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and bear the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit.
4. Bearing fruit brings glory to God and I become a disciple.
Once, I went to visit Mr. Kwon's house. The reason I went to visit was to evangelize because my husband did not leave the church. After investigating various reasons, the reason why he didn't come to church was that Master Kwon didn't come to church because he wasn't good at his family. When we bear fruit well, we can glorify God and evangelize.
In John 15:8 we read, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you may go and bear fruit, and that your fruit may abid, that the Father may receive everything in my name.” is saying When we built our church 20 years ago, many people decided to donate the building donation. But last time I got a call from a certain Kwon, and he sent me a check saying that I had to do it now because I couldn't do it until now, which I had planned for 5 million won at that time. This is the fruit of the priest's faith. We pray in the name of the Lord that we too may bear a lot of fruit, glorify God, become true disciples of Jesus, and receive blessings from God.
