Title Let's Express Love! (John 13:34-35)
The Apostle Paul confesses in 1 Corinthians 13 that no matter how powerful and great a person is, without love, he is nothing. It is only when love is full and love is satisfied that we can live a human life. Because love is the nature of God the Creator, true love has the ability to create new values. So, those who know and receive love will have a good heart and a pure personality.
1. It must be expressed with interest.
Human beings have an interest in what they love. A mother cares for her children because she loves them. If the child eats less rice, where does the child hurt? no appetite? Is the side dish tasteless in your mouth? I worry.
In Luke 10, Jesus told the parable of the ‘good Samaritan’ while explaining his love for his neighbor. As Jesus told this story, the last words he said were, “Which of these three is the neighbor of the robber?” That is, who loved the robber? is that He was speaking of a Samaritan who was interested in him. Therefore, love must be expressed with care. Our God wants a love that is expressed in concern.
2. Express yourself with responsibility.
Parents are responsible for their children because they love them. For the life and happiness of their children, parents do their best to take responsibility. Because I love you. God takes care of us because He loves us. He is a God who answers whenever we cry out. Therefore, if we also love each other, we must become believers who take responsibility for each other. So the Bible says: “You bear each other’s burdens. Thus fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) Since the word ‘law’ here means love, the one who bears the burden is the one who fulfills love.
3. It must be expressed through service.
The person you love has the desire to give anything. The proof of love is that you don't waste money, that you don't get tired of passing time, and that you want to give affection. You can tell how much he loves you by what he gives you and how much he gives you. And true love is to rejoice in giving without feeling sorry for giving. This is also the mystery of love. Please understand the meaning of this prayer. It is love when it is not wasted while giving, and love is when it is not burdened by receiving. We must live a life of love. I pray that we will become saints who practice love by giving each other interest in each other, taking responsibility for each other, and giving.
