Title Let's Praise/Hebrews 10:24-25
Contents In the old days, our ancestors loved, depended on, helped each other, and praised each other and lived. As the times have changed, compassion has dried up and love has dried up, so it has become a world where people hate others rather than praise them, prefer to harm others rather than give them to others, and try to win even if they are pressed rather than exalting others.
The reason why the "Let's Praise" program, which received a good award in the broadcasting industry at this time, provoked a good response of the times, was because it had a good influence on a world that was getting colder. Praise is as good as saying I love you. This praise has the power to melt a heart that is hard as cold ice like snow in spring.
In addition, the person who praises you will be evaluated as a valuable person and will be seen as noble. Praise makes a person, and praise in faith has the power to make a servant of God.
When we look around at home, at church, at our neighbors, at work, or at work, we have so many things to praise, but we are not too stingy. There are so many things to praise in the world while watching TV. How can we convey the love of Christ if we are full of praise, criticism, ridicule, envy, jealousy, and hatred at church?
Today's verse says, "Looking back on one another, encouraging love and holiness."
If we truly live in the love of Christ, we should praise rather than criticize and encourage rather than judge.
Through today's message, meet the person you hated before the end of this year or before the new millennium. Meet those who judged and criticized. If you wish to live a victorious life that is praised, praise it a lot in the name of the Lord, and in the 21st century, everyone I bless you in the name of the Lord to receive many praises from this Lord.
1. The Lord tells us not to try to be praised.
Matthew 6:1 "Be careful that you do not practice your righteousness before men to be seen by them, or you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."
This means that you should not do anything in order to show your righteousness, or in other words, to receive praise from others. If people know about what I've done and give praise and encouragement, it's a good thing, but if you have a purpose to receive compliments and feel sad if you don't hear them, it's not as good as what you didn't do. .
In the early church, a man named Barnabas heard the gospel, was changed, sold his field, and presented it to the apostles. Ananias Sapphira and his wife, who saw it, also wanted to sell their property and receive praise and recognition. The property that started with such a purpose and interest eventually fell into temptation and sinned against the Holy Spirit, and became a model for what a liar would say.
The Lord says “The left hand will not know what the right hand is doing… and the Father who sees in secret will repay you” (Matthew 6:4).
Dear saints!
God knows everything you do. It's okay if people don't know it. If the Lord knows, here's a real compliment and a beautiful reward.
2. The Lord tells us to live a life of praise.
Proverbs 27:2 says, "Let others praise you, not with your mouth, let strangers praise you, not with your lips." .
In the days of Jesus, the Pharisees and scribes memorized the scriptures in order to be praised and recognized in front of many people, and how much did they boast in the streets that they lived like this? Instead of praising them, the Lord severely rebuked them for being hypocrites. But if that's not the purpose, you have to live that way.
Dear saints!
Shouldn't we live in the world with the mission of light and salt? Just as flowers have a scent and a scent, if you have a good heart and deeds toward the Lord, you will naturally receive praise from others. The centurion in Acts 10, as a Gentile, was despised and ignored by the Jews, but rather received praise from them. How will the Lord see me today? Whether to praise or hate, I hope you live in the light of the Word.
3. The Lord tells us to live with praise today.
Hebrews 10:24 says, “Respect one another, encouraging love and good deeds.”
Praise creates a strong stimulus. It has the power to open a closed heart and melt a hardened heart. I bless you in the name of the Lord that you have a wonderful life to live with praise.
Verse 25 says, “Don’t be like a crowd who refuses to meet.” This means destroying and disrupting the community. They criticize, judge, hate, and fight each other, destroying the community. This group should never be. I pray that you do not fall into this group. Let's encourage and praise each other until the day the Lord comes. You must not let the work of God stumble, and the Lord will never stumble, but do not join the crowd. By praising them, we can learn about the kingdom of God and build each other up. Therefore, you should not compare them with each other. Instead of comparing your status, circumstances, circumstances, or positions, you just need to acknowledge the way you are and praise them as they are. If you compare a person with yourself and with others, you cannot praise him.
Dear saints!
Keep an eye on the advantages rather than the disadvantages. Think positive rather than negative. The human eye tries to see other people's shortcomings and bad points, and it shows them well.
What kind of life do we live? Aren't you trying to be praised? Don't try to be praised, but live a life of praise. I hope you get lots of compliments. Praise will come back. Please do not compare, and do not spare encouragement and praise. Then you will get a lot of people around you and you will be able to do important things to build people up. Therefore, in the name of the Lord, I pray that your family, our church, and this society will build a beautiful community that the Lord sees through you.
