Title Let's Pray for the Holy Spirit

content addition>

Let's long for the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:9-13)

There is the greatest privilege that God has only given to us as children of God (John 1:12). It is prayer. When we pray, God hears us (John 14:13-14). You must become a child of God to have the right to pray.

1. Prayer should be done in the relationship between the child and the father.

(1) In what ways are the Father of the flesh and the Father of faith the same?

(2) Our God is the Father of our Christians.

2. Luke 11 contains Jesus' teachings about prayer.

(1) The words of Jesus' prayer are recorded as similar words in Matthew 7 (Matthew 7:1-11). However, you will find that the two texts have different endings (Matthew 7:11, Luke 11:13).

(2) What will happen if we do not seek the Holy Spirit? What if I ask for something else? What did Jesus mean when he said that the heavenly Father gives the Holy Spirit as an answer to prayer?

3. Holy Spirit the Comforter

(1) Think of a case in which you are struggling with a steep turning point in your life! (John 14:15-19).

(2) Imagine that you need help with the important decision of your life (John 16:13).

4. Let's get down on our knees and pray.

(1) If you are not paying close attention, you may miss these promises and be completely unaware of the power that comes from God's presence.

(2) Examine yourself. Are you living a life of earnestly seeking the Spirit of God now?

When you pray, the Holy Spirit works (Luke 11:13, Matthew 12:28).

When the Holy Spirit works, the forces of evil spirits will be bound (Matthew 12:28-29). When the Holy Spirit works, the angels of God's power are mobilized to do the Lord's work (Heb 1:14, Rev 8:3-5, Dan 10:10-20). From then on, the surrounding environment begins to change (Esther 4:14).

Our God wants to hear our prayers and is waiting for us with the heavenly storehouses wide open (Romans 8:32). How much you know doesn't even require knowledge. Only the experience of regeneration is necessary and the longing for God's grace is necessary.
