Title Let's Rejoice Before God Together...-2/15

(Deuteronomy 12: 8-14) ... This is the first and most important commandment, <worship>. So, the most important thing among God's commandments to us is <worship>. This fits very well with the word of our Lord. It is also called the greatest commandment in the Old Testament, or the commandment that summarizes all the Old Testament commandments. What did the Lord say about that? Yes!! Love God, love your neighbor! Then, what is the first way to specifically love God? Worship! So, it is only natural that worship appears in the first part of how to specifically love God in Deuteronomy, the Old Testament Bible that Jesus quoted most while teaching the gospel. If you believe in Jesus, but keep missing out on worship, that doesn't make sense. This is because worship is the most important expression of <God's love>.
Today's text is similar to last week. Today's topic is also worship before God. Why does this keep coming up over and over again? Even so, it's a thick bible. because it's important Let's summarize. Last week I learned 3 ways to worship. You should simply review this. Because today, I only need to add one more to those three.
1. In one place that God has appointed! But today, Jesus' explanation applies to us. So, it is not a place, but (1) Wherever God is, we will worship in front of Him! 1) Meditate on the Word of God in me! 2) Gathering of community worshiping God in heaven! 3) A life of living according to the word of God, who is everywhere in the world! (2) “in spirit and in truth,” that is, in the Spirit and in our hearts.
2. Offer various sacrifices! But today, the explanation of Jesus also applies to us. Of course, it is not without the story of giving, but there is something more important. (1) The grace of <forgiveness>, the greatest grace in the world, that God gives to us is absolutely impossible through donations or offerings. It can only be done by believing in <The Blood of Jesus on the Cross>. Therefore, “this confession of faith” is more important than giving anything. If you donate a lot to other religions, you will feel more at peace. However, it is a psychological effect caused by a general religious spirit, not a remission of sins. (2) Then what is the offering? There are two. Tithing is a confession that “God has given you this riches”, and the rest is to give thanks and joy for guiding my life. That's why it's not the <amount> that matters, but the <ratio>! (3) Now I can speak!!
Don't just tell us what you donate, but also how you use it! It is to be used in God's name, according to God's will.
