Hymns: 285. The day the word of the Lord was received

I have heard that Korea's 'imitation (fake) manufacturing technology' is the best in the world. It's bittersweet, but at the same time, I had this thought. ‘There is a fake because there is a real thing.’ There are fakes that try to imitate the value because there is a valuable real thing. In a world overflowing with fakes, what is required is ‘distinction’.
1. Distinguishing the Word
In the days of the apostles, there were no good sound facilities or decent buildings, but 3,000 people accepted Jesus according to the words of a fisherman who had no proper education. How is the church today? Every week, the Word is preached from the pulpit at each church and the Internet is developed, so you can listen to numerous sermons in one sitting if you want. Today, it is easy to listen to the Word. Paul praises the Thessalonians in (verse 13). “Because when you received the word of God from us, you did not accept it as the words of men, but as the word of God as it really is.” They accepted the word they heard as the word of God. We must distinguish the preached word from the world's and accept it as the word of God.
2. The distinction between sin
3. Distinction of God's Will
'Distinction' is meaningful only to those who seek the real thing. The distinction is meaningless to those who say fake and good. The basic principle of the Christian life is to be set apart. Our distinction will make Jesus Christ, who is the truth, more shining. I hope you have a day that makes the Lord shine.
<Prayer>
1. Give me the spiritual discernment to discern the Word, sin, and God's will and do it!
2. Let the rivers of living water overflow from the Yebut pulpit!
3. Heal the weak members of the church and give us strength in body and soul!
