[Revelation 1:9-16]
[9] ♠ I, John, your brother and a sharer in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus, was on an island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. I heard a loud voice coming from behind me, like a trumpet. [11] ♠ He said, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, and Thyatira.” [13] As he turned, he saw seven golden candlesticks. The Apostle John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, saw Jesus appearing to him on the island of Banmo, and recorded the things that Jesus showed and heard. The introductory part is to write it to the seven churches in Asia Minor. The Apostle John served for the longest period of time, and due to the persecution of the Roman emperor, he was exiled to a small island called Banmo, about 80 km southeast of the church in Ephesus. It is clear that John also walked with the Lord there. However, you can see that his heart was always praying while thinking of the seven churches in Asia Minor including Ephesus, as well as all the churches along the Mediterranean Sea at that time, thinking of the oppression they received from the Roman government. (Verse 9) It is said that they were on the island of Banmo for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
In fact, it was around AD 97-98 that John wrote the book of Revelation after seeing the revelation. Already 30 years ago, the apostle Paul was martyred and was beheaded in Rome for the testimony of the Lord Christ and the word of God. In addition, after the remaining 11 disciples were martyred in one way and another, around AD 97, the apostle John met Jesus Christ, who was resurrected from his mother-in-law again. (Verse 10) [On the Lord's Day I was moved by the Holy Spirit, and I heard a loud voice behind me like a trumpet.] The Lord's Day is the Lord's Day. It is said that on Sunday, he was moved by the Holy Spirit and heard a loud voice like a trumpet. It was Jesus Christ who appeared. By showing the church what will happen in the future and what will happen on earth and in heaven, Jesus informs, shows, and tells about the future in small details. He told John to write what you see and send it to the churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.
There is no persecution in the Roman era today, but perhaps even more frightening and cunning temptations and all kinds of satanic schemes to overthrow the church are attacking us every day, we must listen to the voice of Jesus Christ.
How is our life? Are you living a life that should be read and seen by the world as a letter of Christ? Unfortunately, all seven churches are now gone. It did not last 500 years after this and disappeared. The church on earth is not eternal. However, as a letter with God's message, we ask you to remember at this dawn that we are ourselves to be sent to the world every day and to be shown every day.
To hear the voice of the Lord and to be moved by the Holy Spirit is to recognize, hear, and realize that the saints are saints and that the church desires God to become the church. Do you see the Lord looking at your heart with flame-like eyes? The Bible says that the two-edged swords come out of their mouths. I pray in the name of the Lord that you will be victorious today as you prepare the Lord to come and speak with the loud voice of the Holy Spirit as all your hearts and minds are heard through the word of God.
They say that an earthquake is likely due to the unusual temperature in LA these days. Some say that the Lord is coming. Whether there is a great earthquake or when the Lord is coming, what does it matter if you can hear the Lord's voice at dawn?
Jeong Jeong-yi, who believed in the Lord and was well trained, received God's call, but the heart of the evangelist inside and out is indescribable pain, but there is hope in heaven, and he is overcoming it well now, drawing the image of his son to see again in the resurrection . The problem is not the son who went first, but you and I who are alive now. Are you guys ready? I do not know when the Lord will come again, but I hope to hear the voice of the Lord even this dawn, and I pray in the name of the Lord that the dawn will come when we see the flames of the Lord's eyes and the words and shapes that are sharper than any other edged swords around us.
