As Jesus began his early ministry, he traveled around the Galilee region, day after day, and amazing events were revealed as Jesus' works, creating crowds of people wherever he went. A few days ago, while healing two demon-possessed people in the Gadara area, I was surprised that 2,000 pigs were drowned in the sea. The house you were going to was filled with people beyond your control.
However, four people carrying a paralyzed man came to Jesus, and there were so many people that they ripped off the roof tiles of other people's houses and let the sick down. “Look at our faith”
The Lord looks at people's faith.
Dongsang dream (同床異夢) means to have different dreams in the same bed. God looks at the heart of man, and people look at the outward appearance. When Jesus Christ thinks about the will of God, the cross and salvation of mankind, the disciples have different dreams. Man looks at achievements and merits, but God looks at faith. The phrase “behold our faith” in the text is recorded in all three places in the Bible. Even if the body is healthy, the person is sick if the faith is weak or not. Even if you succeed in the world, if you do not have faith, you are a ruined person. The beautiful figure of a saint is to live by faith.
It is faith that comes to God.
Faith that comes to church is very important. Although there are many obstacles, we come before God without making excuses or giving up. 12 years ago, when a woman with a hemorrhage appeared before Jesus (Mark 5:34), “Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, ran to Jesus and opened his eyes. .
It is a uniting faith.
Even if we come from different philosophies, plans, and origins, faith that unites in Christ is a blessed and wonderful faith. The church is a mysterious and great community gathered together in the name of Christ. No matter how great or vast, we are one member of Christ, one brother and one sister.
It is a belief that pity others.
It is through God's compassionate grace and mercy that I am and you are today. Now, we too know that it is a beautiful faith to have compassion on others in Christ. When we carry the paralyzed person to the end and work hard for healing, God's grace comes upon us.
It is the faith that must be Jesus.
Does it have to be Jesus? That's right.
Does it have to be a church? That's right. God grants salvation and blessings through the church.
