Content Lord, open it (Luke 24:13-17)
The two disciples on their way to Emmaus saw Jesus walking on water, healing the many sick, and raising the dead, but they were going down to their hometown in disappointment at Jesus, who was crucified and could not save himself. Their physical eyes were opened and they walked to Emmaus, their hometown, but their spiritual eyes were closed, so they walked and talked with the resurrected Jesus, but they did not recognize the resurrected Jesus even though Jesus taught them God's words in detail. Why? This is because the door of the heart, the door of the spirit, and the door of the word are closed. The same is true today. I come to church to worship, but I listen intently to the sermon, but I do not know Jesus. Even though he came to speak to me, I couldn't hear the voice of Jesus. The two disciples going down to Emmaus are “I”. I hope that the door of the heart, the door of the spirit, and the door of the word will be wide open through this revival meeting.
When did the disciples learn who Jesus was? When Jesus and his disciples went into the inn and broke bread and put them on, they knew that it was Jesus. Every time you attend this revival meeting and receive grace, your heart, your spiritual eyes, and the door of the word will be opened by the bread of the Word that is proclaimed. Please open your mouth and say Amen when the Bread of the Word is proclaimed. Please sing praises out loud. Please pray for your throat to burst. It's a bit embarrassing and awkward at first, but if you keep saying Amen, the door will open. If you try to say “Amen” with the spirit of pouring a gourd of water, even by force, you will find amazing living water overflowing. The two disciples, who were on their way to Emmaus, where the door of their heart, the eyes of the spiritual eyes, and the door of the word, were wide open, turned and went up to Jerusalem again to testify about the resurrected Jesus, and they became Jesus' true disciples and were used preciously. I pray that all of you will attend this revival meeting and meet Jesus again, your heart will be warmed, your heart will be filled with the Holy Spirit, the door of your heart will be opened, your spiritual eyes will be opened, and the door of the word will be opened, and I pray that you will be used preciously once again.
