Lord! Send me / Acts 1:8
The old year is coming to an end. He lived 365 days in 52 weeks in a year. We believe that God's grace is with our people and the Korean church. We realize that it has been a place of life of regret before us during the past year. He admits that his confession of life, "Lord, send me," was in vain due to incompetence and total structural evil, and faces a new year with a new resolution.
Isaiah first experienced the shaking of the temple grounds and the burning of an unclean life (Isaiah 6:4-7), and then he was able to say, "Here I am. Please send me." In order to proclaim and practice God's grace of salvation and liberty, you must first go through the work of atonement thoroughly (Leviticus 23:26-32, 25:8-9). 15). That is why we also wanted to call for heart-breaking repentance (Joel 2:12,13) before the new millennium when we said, “Send me.”
The world is changing at a rapid pace, and our lifestyles have changed astonishingly. Therefore, the church must also have its own attitude in this changing society. I need to recognize where the church is in today's world and what direction it is going to take, and figure out the limits of my own position, position, tasks, and activities. We need to shake off the idea that we can be successful if we only have passion or a belly, and then we have to take on a new mission of the times. For a year, we tried to live the life of the 'Year of Atonement' in a sincere and thorough manner, but we regret it very much. In order to achieve the church of the new millennium and the life of salvation concretely in the field of life, our church professed, "In the new millennium, send me, Lord!"
First, our church is responsible for the sins of the churches on this earth for not keeping the gospel well and not living according to the word of justice, for not living according to the Lord's word that one life is more precious than the world. He deeply repented of his failure to abolish the National Security Act, which he had been insisting on. He lost the power to save because the holy gospel of salvation was secularly corrupted in various ways. Self-righteousness and exclusive faith failed to achieve harmony and unity in this society and among the churches. He confessed that he was criticized by people for failing to play the role of a watchman who protects and leads this society and for not being a moral and moral example.
Second, our church deeply repented of the sins of more than fifty years after being divided with this nation. This division is the root cause of all the suffering our nation is experiencing right now. Since the two Koreas have failed to establish a peaceful relationship with each other, our society has not made a new leap forward in all areas of life, including politics, economy, culture, environment, women, and welfare, and North Korea is also facing starvation. However, the June 15 inter-Korean summit was thankful for the grace that God bestowed on the first Pentecost of the new millennium.
Thirdly, our church urged the first world countries, centered on the United States, to repent and return to their imperial life in all its forms. Due to the domination of the economy through international financial institutions, many countries and people, including Korea, are suffering more than at any other time in history. From trying to live by dominating others like imperialism, in all relationships such as men and women, races, countries, and continents, there is an unjust order and discrimination that is not equal, and the ecosystem in which mankind will live for generations is also destroyed. Don't forget that the agreements and the maintenance of mature relationships have also been created.
Besides this, there will be many old and sinful lives in this world and in us. We need to find them individually, repent and correct them in every area and moment of our lives.
In this sense, as my motto, my pastoral hall is serving up to this day with the position of belief, love, and love.
The new millennium is the year of 2000. Now, as we approach the long-awaited new millennium, we must repent of the life we have to look back on.
When we look at the political, economic, and social backgrounds of this country, we cannot but pray for repentance. Democracy does not bloom and the politics that should give faith and hope have lost justice and morality due to lies and corruption.
The economy, which was supposed to live well, brought poverty and disappointment to those who worked hard, and brought great wealth to those who exploited and speculated. Today's society, where we must trust each other and take care of each other, has become a total corruption structure due to distrust and pursuit of profit. A society that prioritizes cold-hearted recognition rather than good-heartedness, quick-witted behavior rather than an honorable life, money rather than ability, academic discipline and delay rather than ability, obedience and reaction rather than creativity, interpretation rather than criticism, power rather than friends, organization rather than community consciousness, and practicality rather than loyalty. The debilitating phenomena have permeated politics, economy, and society, creating a society without responsibility due to a sense of selfishness and local emotions. Everyone is blaming each other and wandering in a confrontation of conflict, ignoring each other in a trend of avoiding responsibility for the given reality. We must realize that the new millennium and the 21st century are our place where only a responsible society can live, and we must pray for strengthening the sense of community and establishing an identity for the realization of a responsible society.
Now, it is not anyone's fault, but it is all my responsibility, and I have to look back on my own fault and acquire the wisdom of repentance with a humble heart.
In our society these days, rather than a sense of responsibility that everything is my responsibility, the trend of avoidance of blaming others is too deep and widespread. The worker blames the employer, the employer blames the worker, the boss blames the subordinate, the subordinate blames the boss, the disciple blames the teacher and the teacher blames the student. The east blames the west, the west blames the east, the south blames the north, the north blames the south, the ruling party blames the opposition, the opposition blames the ruling party, the old generation blames the young generation, the young generation blames the old generation, and the mother-in-law blames the daughter-in-law mother-in-law We are immersed in the habit of blaming and shifting responsibility, blaming each other and slandering each other.
To give an example, you can get a glimpse of today's reality by looking at the actual conditions listed under the title '10 Misconceptions That Harm Traffic Culture', presented by Hyung-Goo Na at a car meeting in Hitel, operated by Korea PC Communication.
1. When I buy a car, it is a necessities of life, and when you buy it, it is a luxury item.
2. If I drive a mid-size car, it is suitable for the level, and if you drive it, it is over-consumption.
3. If I bring a car into the city, it is unavoidable for work, and yours is an unnecessary act that causes traffic jams.
4. My interruption is unavoidable due to lane change, and your interruption is reckless driving.
5. My speeding is good driving skills, and your speeding is reckless driving.
6. If I collide with the vehicle in front, the sudden stop of the vehicle in front is the cause of the accident.
7. If I get into an accident, I'm a victim of a traffic war, and if you do, I'm a loser in traffic civilization.
8. My illegal parking is due to lack of parking lot, and your illegal parking is due to lack of compliance.
9. If I get cracked, I'm terribly unlucky, and it's perfectly normal for you to be cracked down.
10. The reason I wash the car is to brighten the aesthetics of the city, and your washing is a kind of environmental pollution for personal convenience.
We cannot overlook the small faults of others, but we easily forgive our own big faults. We live flexible about ourselves, hoping that everyone else will live the world with principles and common sense. He is trying to rationalize his work with desperate reasons and lame excuses. This is the case with me and others.
Humans seem to have started the history of mankind by blaming others from the time of Adam and Eve, the first human beings. After eating the fruit of good and evil, Adam shifts the blame for saying that Eve, whom God had given him, told him to eat, and Eve, who was deceived by the serpent, shifts the blame. This is the beginning of the fall of man and is the reason for his expulsion from Paradise.
We lack the spirit of yeojijisaji (易地思之). If I think about the situation in a different way, problems that can be fully understood and reconciled form a bias in my point of view and my position, so the problem is not solved, but twisted and twisted. Often times, we think that if we meet a good person, we will become a good person too. But first, I have to become a person who gives trust to myself and win each other's trust. Even if self-righteousness that will not choose any means and methods for our own interests prevails and the whirlpool of exclusive and selfish disorder is our current phenomenon, we must realize it as a society in which we can all live together in order to revitalize a community. If you try to say that only I can live well, everyone will perish. In the spirit of Yeokjisaji, it is simple. It is because I learn the lesson that I must be a good person who gives faith first. Reflecting on my own faults is the greatest virtue that develops a human being.
It has become an unbelievable human and untrustworthy world. This is clearly a violation of God's order and a world that goes against human ways. The way to find morality on this road is to repent and fulfill your responsibilities. It is a matter of restoring trust to change an unbelievable world into a world where people believe and live. In order to live with mutual trust, we must first think that the mistrust and fault lie with ourselves, not with others. As we pass this year, let's welcome the new year while finding the wisdom of overcoming the crisis that puts "Your fault on mine"
