Sermons for Preaching

title love heart

This is the story of a working couple. Sometimes the wife came home later than the husband. Husbands and wives feel the same way that they want their family to welcome them back home with a weary body. One day, my wife came home from a very hard job. As soon as the wife took off her shoes, the husband returned home and said, “Honey, I have coffee!” and then continued to watch TV. As soon as he heard that, his wife was slightly angry. It's hard for each other, but instead of saying "It was hard, did you eat?", the husband who ordered the coffee errand was savage.

However, it is said that the moment he felt sad, God gave his wife these thoughts.

‘No, I must have wanted to have a cup of coffee together because I was waiting for you with love.’ When she changed her mind, her mood improved, and the couple was able to have a happy coffee time. Happiness and unhappiness are created according to differences in thinking. Which one you choose is important. Because we eat the fruit according to the result.

“With all humility and gentleness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love” (Ephesians 4:2).

A mother of a son and daughter in the United States came to the United States to visit her children. First, I stopped by my daughter's house. Mother was astonished. The reason was that before my daughter got up, my son-in-law got up first, had breakfast, packed a sandwich and went to work. The son-in-law, who loved his daughter so much, seemed infinitely grateful and proud. But this time, I went to my son's house. Early in the morning, the daughter-in-law did not wake up and the son had breakfast alone, packed a sandwich, and went to work. It is said that at the same time that his son looked so pitiful, he could not stand how bad his daughter-in-law was doing.

There was no difference between his daughter's behavior or that of his daughter-in-law, so why did one look so hateful?

If you live in the world with love, everything looks beautiful and lovely. If you look at the world with a loving heart, you will love anyone you meet, see plants, and animals. If you live your social life with love, you will enjoy what you do and you will not be tired.

If you make your family happy with love, the whole family will be happy, and work outside will be enjoyable in good health

If we open up the future to a beautiful world by accepting everything with love and making it our daily life, this would be a paradise.

The Bible says, “Hate stirs up strife, but love covers all transgressions” (Proverbs 10:12). With love, everything looks beautiful. But when that love cools, even the beautiful looks ugly. Even good looks bad. If there is a reason why we cannot cover our mistakes and faults, it is because we still have little love.

The reason we have a lot of people we hate is probably because we lack love. When I am dissatisfied with what everyone is doing, it must be because I do not see them with the eyes of love.

The Bible says

“Do not owe anyone except to love one another. He who loves others has fulfilled the law. Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not covet. We have all heard the saying, “Love as you love.” Love does no evil to its neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:8-10).

“Love is patient, love is kind, does not envy, love does not boast, is not arrogant, is not rude, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, rejoices in the truth, bears all things believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails, but prophecy will pass away, tongues will cease, knowledge will pass away.

... Then faith, hope, and love, these three, will always exist, and the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 3:4-13).

It's not a hymn, but do you know the song "I love you" by singer Kim Se-hwan? Here are the lyrics.

There's nothing better than a loving heart

There is nothing more satisfying than the moment of being loved

There is nothing more affectionate than the gaze of love

There's nothing more thrilling than the touch of your fingertips

A strange joy that cannot be known alone

Words that feel good even if you hear them ten million more times

I love you

There's nothing more exciting than a loving heart

There is nothing warmer than that rushing heart

A strange happiness that cannot be known alone

Words that feel good even if you hear them a million times

I love you

There's nothing more exciting than a loving heart

There's nothing more thrilling than the touch of your fingertips

There will be nothing thrilling

As in these lyrics, if everyone in this society we live in looks at and treats others with love, the dark and dirty society will gradually change into a bright and beautiful society.

I pray that all the saints will love God and their neighbors even more than they do now.
