1. Calling: Going out together for ministry (1)

“Gathering” Jesus had to call his disciples to work together.

One). The disciples had their families and responsibilities.

Of course, most of the time I worked as an evangelist with Jesus, but when the time came, I had to return home to take care of my family.

2). The basic element of “call in” ministry is to be together. (John 13:33-34, Philippians 1:27)

3). The purpose of going together is to work.

Jesus was ready to go up to Jerusalem to carry out his Galilean ministry (Luke 9:51).

Before leaving Galilee, the Lord wanted to find people who were close to the faith once more and those who would take root and strengthen their roots.

4). Jesus called his disciples and gave them the power to “control over all demons and to heal the sick.”

① “The ability to control all demons…”

* No matter how evil, enslaved, strong, ferocious, cunning, unsuspected demons,

say you have the ability The Lord came to overcome the demons and to overcome them.

(Eph 6:12, John 12:31, Col 1:13-14, Col 2:15, Hebrews 2:14-15, 1 John 3:8)

② “The power to heal” This is the Lord's great sympathy for people, and he wants to draw people to the Lord.

(John 12:32) It also helps to strengthen your faith.

2. Preparation: Power and Authority (1)

The preparations that the disciples should have had to have ability and authority.

* Jesus prepared his disciples to use that power with power and authority.

Acknowledge that the disciples must completely depend on God and make them move on.

It helps the disciples to become closer to God by being really sensitive to the Spirit of God.

How are we doing today? Are you using the power and authority you received with the disciples?

(Mt 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, 4:33, 1 Corinthians 2:4, 1 Tim 1:12, 2 Corinthians 3:6, 9:8, Philippians 4:13, Ephesians 3:20, 1 Thessalonians 1:5 , ..)

3. Mission: Evangelism and ministry (2)

The mission of the disciples was to preach and teach the gospel.

One). They were sent on the same mission as Jesus. (John 20:21, Luke 9:11)

2). They preached the kingdom of God (satisfying man's spiritual needs) (Matthew 19:23-24, Luke 19:10, John 20:31).

3). They healed the sick (meeting their physical needs) (Matthew 20:28, 1 Pet 3:8, Jude 22-23, Zechariah 7:9, ).

4. Method (3~5)

One). The disciples did not seek success by personal appearance or material things (they lived with humility and simplicity).

Concentrate on teaching and preaching, and abandon even the appearance of evil. (Love only God and His kingdom)

(Rom 8:5-6, Hebrews 11:13-16, 24-26)

2). Disciples evangelize in homes where there are families who care and welcome them.(4)

3). A warning was given to those who rejected.

① The disciples did not argue, so that swear words, accusations, and strife did not arise there.

② The disciples simply left. When he left, he left silent evidence.

: Removes dust from feet. It symbolizes Sim Farm.

Church in the home: The method chosen by the Lord is home evangelization. (10:5)

He carefully searched for and researched families and families who were receptive to the gospel, and made them the center of his ministry.

① The family was emphasized and placed at the center of the ministry.

② Certainty, safety, and firmness are emphasized.

* The kingdom of God can be strong and stable.

③ It focuses on evangelism and ministry within the very community in which people live.

* To be able to see the presence of Christ in our daily life.

④The message is to expand from family to family, creating larger concentric circles.

The early church certainly centered on the family of devoted believers.

(Acts 5:42, 12:12, 16:40, 20:20, 1 Corinthians 16:19, Col 4:15, Phm 2)

5. Obedience: Going out to preach and serve the Word (6)

The disciples certainly carried out the tasks they were entrusted with. At least it didn't fail.

One). they left

Without hesitation, questioning, proposing conditions, or hesitating, he did not stop leaving.

2). Starting with a family in the city, they evangelized the area and gradually expanded the area.

3). He ministered by preaching the word “in every place.” They have succeeded in widespread ministries and spreading the gospel.

They worked for both the spirit (evangelism) and the body (healing). (Acts 8:4, 2 Timothy 4:2, Luke 9:60, Acts 5:20)

6. Impact (7-9)

The message and ministry of Jesus and his disciples spread far and wide. (to the core of power)

One). Herod was perplexed.

People said that the dead John was resurrected, and the king suffered from remorse. So he wanted to know if it was certain that John was alive.

2). The people thought deeply about who Jesus was. (John 7:37-53)
