Bible Text: Proverbs 30:29-31
majestic
A country ruled by a king is called a kingdom. A kingdom ruled by a king saw the driver's seat of the car on the right. The right side is the opposite of the left side. The right side is the seat of rulership and symbolizes authority and power.
After the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, they sang the joy of victory. “Your right hand, O LORD, is glorified in power. Your right hand, O LORD, crushes the enemy” (Exodus 15:6). Jesus also prays for us at the right hand of the throne of God.
At the time of King David's coronation, God said to David, "Sit at my right hand" (Psalm 110:1). King David sitting on the throne is majestic. But not only kings, but also lions, hounds, and he-goats have dignity. Majesty is having an overwhelming appearance and dignity. People become majestic with God. Let us all be at the right hand of God and be majestic.
The majesty of a lion is valor.
Lions, along with tigers, are ferocious beasts. The lion is a symbol of strength and valor. Lions are highly intelligent and have scary teeth. Lions sleep with their fangs exposed when they sleep. It shows a terrifying majesty even when sleeping. There is a saying that it is like the molars of a lion. Lions chew and swallow anything with their molars. For lions, the molars are the pinnacle of bravery.
There is a saying in the Bible that “a live puppy is better than a dead lion” (Ecclesiastes 9:4). Dead lions kick donkeys too. A lion roars in the wilderness. No matter how large and powerful the beast, the lion's roar is frightening.
A lion is a strong heart. No one is afraid. The Bible says that God is like a lion. “He came out of his den like a young lion, and their land will be ruined by his roaring wrath and wrath.” (Jeremiah 25:38)
A lion pattern is engraved on the pedestal placed in Solomon's temple (1 Kings 7:39). The temple is the body of the saints. There is a lion symbol inside the temple. We must engrave a lion in our hearts. Lions are not feminine pets. A masculine masculine temperament Active and challenging. You have an enterprising spirit and determination.
Napoleon said, “I admire courageous men. Even though he is my enemy, I respect him. said God likes the brave. A brave man moves the heart of God.
Because what God has given us is not a spirit of fear. God told Joshua to be strong and courageous. You must have the courage God has given you. Cowards avoid danger, but danger shuns the brave. It takes courage to resist and conquer fear. A boxer who only defends cannot knock down his opponent. Only those who can attack can claim the championship belt.
The greatest of virtues is bravery. They say it's a hundred per day. It means that one person beats a hundred people. Such a person is reckless. It refers to a warrior who rushes without covering the front and back.
Life is a competition. In the animal world, the weak are the food of the strong. Two of the twelve men who returned from spying out the land of Canaan said, "If God is with us, they are our food" (Numbers 14:9). If God is with us, who can be against us? The weak-legged tooth cannot be beaten by the hard-banged tooth. The strong wins.
The lion is a symbol of the strong. Saints need the heart of a lion.
“My righteous will live by faith, and my heart will not rejoice in them if they turn back. We are not of those who retreat back and perish, but those who have faith to the saving of souls (Hebrews 10:38-39).
The majesty of hunting dogs is their pursuit.
Dogs that hunt are called “hounds” and animals or birds that they catch are called “incurable”. Hounds are amazing at finding out where incurables are. They have a developed sense of smell, so they know by smell. If it sees an incurable, it will chase you with a quick move. Hounds do not back down. follow you to the end.
Gideon's 300 warriors encircled Midian and pursued the fleeing men, and also captured and killed two Midianite kings, Sheba and Zalmunna (Judges 7:24-25; 8:12.21).
Lao-tzu said that hunting drives people's minds crazy. When I say that he drives me crazy, I don't mean to go crazy, I mean to be overly zealous.
If you live your life like a hunting dog, you will have the best life. If you study like a hunting dog and do business like a hunting dog, you will surely succeed.
The apostle Paul was like a hunting dog. “Not that I have already obtained it or that I have finished it, but I run to seize that for which I was captured by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I have not yet taken hold of it, but one thing I have done: Forgetting what is behind, and grasping what is ahead, toward the goal. I run to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:12-14).
It looks like the hound is chasing with all his might to catch the incurable. Chase towards the final goal. Paul said to imitate him. He also said that he had imitated Jesus (1 Corinthians 4:16). One thing in common between the imitator and Jesus who became the example is that they were told that they were crazy.
Paul was told he was crazy. “Paul, I am crazy about you. (Acts 26:24) Why was he told that he was crazy? He testified of Jesus to King Agrippa, who was interrogating him at the place of questioning. It was a sin to preach Jesus, and the person being brought to trial said that he was crazy when he testified of Jesus. At that time, Paul said to the man who thought he was crazy, “Mr. Benes, I am not crazy, but I speak true and perfect words (Acts 26:25).
Jesus was also told that he was crazy. It wasn't anyone else, it was my family. After Jesus made the twelve disciples, he entered a certain house, and many people flocked to him. “When the relatives of Jesus heard it, they came out to arrest him, saying, “He is crazy.” (Mark 3:21) Those who hear that he is crazy are those who have the temperament of a hunting dog. Whatever you do, you have to do it like crazy. Just like a hunting dog chasing an incurable tooth, you must do your best.
So is God's temperament. It is “zealous”. “The Lord will work hard to accomplish this work” (1 Kings 19:31). Please run with zeal like a hunting dog. Then it's a grand hall.
The he-goat's majesty is leadership.
He-goat means the head of the herd. In the Bible, “… … .Be like the goats that go before the flock” (Jeremiah 50:8). If you go to Israel, you will see a shepherd raising a mix of sheep and goats. Sheep are dependent and obedient. Sheep flock to each other in order to get under the shadows of their companions. Yang is too strong in the hot sunlight. Sheep are weak against heat.
But goats do not travel in groups. Because goats are independent, heat-resistant, and proud, they act individually. Goats are fearless and move independently. Climb even steep rocks without fear. Sheep are timid and cannot take the lead, but they are always led by a he-goat. In other words, the goat with the sheep is the leader. If the goat leads, the sheep will follow. The reason sheep and goats are mixed is to lead the sheep.
The he-goat symbolizes the leader. A leader knows what the crowd doesn't know, convinces, impresses, and encourages it. The strength required of a leader is the strength to endure and the strength to persevere. Reason and judgment are the elements of a leader.
When Lincoln was in office, he was pressured by the senators to fire seven ministers. Lincoln was reluctant to fire the minister he trusted. Lincoln could not simply deny the Senate's pressure. Reluctantly, I fired one of the seven, and I strongly demanded that the rest be fired.
Lincoln told them this. There was a farmer who was harassed by skunks every night. My wife used to tell me to catch a skunk every day. The husband was not able to resist his wife's fire and went out in the middle of the night with a gun. Shortly thereafter, gunshots rang out, and a farmer entered the house. A wife asks her husband, "Did you kill all the skunks?" The husband laughed and said, “Seven skunks were crawling out of the woods. So I aimed one and pulled the trigger, and one fell.” “What about the other six?” “The other six ran away. He'll never come back to see his fellow skunks shot dead. I can't come because I'm afraid of the rest!"
When the senators heard President Lincoln's words, they understood what he meant and nodded their heads. Lincoln was a great believer and a great leader. The senators listened to Lincoln and became quiet. His speech was persuasive.
What should Nobunaga do if there is a samurai who did not cry among the samurai who led the Warring States period in Japan? When asked, “I will kill the eagle that does not cry. answer. A lion kills its cub if it doesn't look like a lion. The lion raises its kittens into lions, not cats, and preserves the race as the king of beasts. That is the majesty of the lion.
“A lion, a hound, a he-goat, and a king that is the strongest among beasts, and does not retreat from the presence of any beast, and a king that cannot stand against them” (verses 30-31). .
Like Paul, I hope you will forget the past and become a hound that chases you towards the target to catch what is in front of you. If you race with a dog and lose, you become a * less than a dog, and if you race with a dog and lose, you become * like a dog. If you race a dog and win, you become a better person than the dog. The leadership of the ram leading the flock is majestic. Raise a valiant lion within you, a chaser hound, and a leader goat to be majestic.
