Title [Make Today Happier] Change Your Habit

Contents

Text: Jeremiah 22:22-23/ People are born with nature and have habits that change depending on their environment. The innate character or character is called nature. The hallmark of successful people is that they have good habits. Also, they change their bad habits into good ones through long-term self-reflection and training. Changing your habits is called second nature.

Good faith habits are the appearance of a beautiful saint. The most beautiful time for a wife is when she puts on her apron and cooks for her family. A mother is most beautiful when she sits down a bit and breastfeeds her child. The most beautiful time for saints is when they are victorious in their battles. The fight to cut bad habits in the world, the image of the saints struggling to quit smoking this week is really beautiful. As Montaigne said, “Habit makes a man.”

If you look at the sermon, everyone has a different habit of receiving grace. There are people who listen intently. There are people who keep talking to the person next to you. Some even go to dreamland. Some people write hard. Some people read the Bible they have never read. Good preaching habits are on time, sitting still, and sitting quietly. You must look directly at the preacher. Sit upright and listen.

Jeremiah 22:20-30 is a record of the miserable fate of King Coniah. Coniah was the son of Jehoiakim and the second last king of Judah. King Nebuchadnezzar was reinstated after the death of Nebuchadnezzar. “You will be dragged and thrown outside the gates of Jerusalem, and you will be buried like a donkey” (Jeremiah 22:19) “The wind will swallow up your shepherds, and those who love you will become captives, and you will be put to shame and reproach for evil” (Jeremiah 22:22). )

Ladies and gentlemen, why is King Koniya facing such suffering and pitiful fate? The reason is in the Bible. “I spoke to you when you were in peace, but you said, ‘I will not listen.

Jehoiachin, the royal family of Coniah, had a bad habit of not listening to God's word from an early age. In the end, he became a king, but because of this habit, he becomes a king who perishes.

“Because their sins were great, they despised the sacrifice of the Lord” (1 Samuel 2:17). They were unfaithful when they worshiped God. After offering a sacrifice to God, when you boil meat, you bring a iron hook, put it in the pot, and take all the meat that comes out. You can't fear God. I touched the offering. full of greed.

Habits are so scary. Bad habits of faith ignore God. They despise the priest. dishonor the church. Disobedient and fearless. If it becomes a habit, even if you believe it, you are seriously wrong.

In particular, make it a habit to tite properly. Get into the habit of being grateful. I pray that you will develop a habit of giving thanks for all worship services such as Aekyungsa, the director of the opening ceremony. If you steal, steal, and eat God's things, you will become like the son of the priest Eli.

Try to change only the bad habits in your life, whether at home, at work, or in your faith. The fruits of success and blessing are there. I pray that you will become spiritually victorious by breaking bad habits and cultivating good habits.
