Title Make me a believer!
[39] You study the Scriptures, thinking that you have eternal life, but these are the scriptures that testify about me.
[40] But you do not want to come to me to have eternal life.
[41] I take no glory from men.
[42] But I know that the love of God is not in you.
[43] I came in my Father's name, and you do not receive him; but if another comes in his own name, you will receive it.
[44] How can you believe in me, since you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
[45] Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father, for there is one who accuses you, Moses, in whom you hope.
[46] If you had believed Moses, you would have also believed me, for he wrote about me.
[47] But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?
People know that beliefs come from rational theories, but they do not believe because of rational theories, but because they believe. Evidence does not beget faith, faith begets evidence.
1. If you look at the door of faith, in fact, there is nothing in the world that is not a miracle. everything is a miracle It is a miracle that I am alive today, and it is a miracle that I came to believe in Jesus. Also, if you receive it with a humble heart, there is nothing in the world that is not grace. It's all just grace. Thank you for looking at this person, thank you for looking at that person. There is nothing in the world to complain about. And, if you look at it with spiritual eyes, there is nothing in the world that is not the work of God. We hear the voice of God while listening to the birdsong, and we feel God's hand in the grass that grows along the roadside. So, what are we lacking in seeking another miracle? But the Jews keep asking for a sign from Jesus. Then Jesus said to him, “I have nothing more to show you except the sign of Jonah.” Why is there such a lack of trust?
2. It is because you have a hard heart. completely hard-headed So, no matter how good you talk to them, they don't work. It's just listening crookedly to everything you say. And they disobeyed the Bible. “You study the Scriptures, and the Scriptures testify of me” (39) The Bible testifies of Jesus Christ. Still, I didn't believe it. Regarding this, Jesus said, “… But I know that the love of God is not in you” (42). they have no love don't love God So I can't believe his words. We must treat the Bible with love. In other words, love can be called faith. Because if you love, you will believe. And, the reason people don't love is because of greed. If she never loses and only seeks profits, would it be love?
3. We must love God. With this love, I have to trust God completely. The Jews did not believe even while reading the Bible and followed Moses, but they did not know what the law meant. And, I believe in God, but I can't find any faith or love at all, so it's really sad. Now we too must open our eyes. Even if we cannot see the starlight, there are always stars somewhere, and although we do not have anything in our hands, grace is alive. And even if we fail, God's love does not change. This belief must not be shaken. God's love for us has already been assured by the cross. Never doubt When we receive God's love, we can believe, and when we believe, we are also encouraged in grace. Faith is a gift. (Ephesians 2:8)
We've already seen a lot. What more would you like to see? What has already been experienced is sufficient, and what has already been heard is sufficient. What more evidence do you want? Those who believe without seeing - Blessed are those who choose not to see and believe.
