Today's Korean church has grown remarkably and accomplished many things.
But more important than growth is that the church becomes a church.
It is to exercise influence by seeking God's will, building the church on that will, and fulfilling that mission.
The Israelites in the wilderness were not destroyed because of their small numbers.
Sodom and Sodomrah were not destroyed because they were not strong enough.
Because there was no one after God's own heart, and no one was obedient.
It seems that many people mistake the blind love of the church for the love of the Lord.
We must not be ecclesiastical, but we must not be ecclesiastical,
You shouldn't be a denominationalist, but you shouldn't be a sectarian.
Now is not the time to increase the number of churches and increase the number of members.
When a church becomes healthy like a church, growth naturally follows as a result.
Therefore, how can our church also become a church?
We need to think deeply about how the saints can become saints.
We meet the explosive growth of the early church in the book of Acts.
At the preaching site of Apostle Peter, 3,000 or 5,000 people repented and were baptized.
However, there is one thing we should note here.
‘I have to lead a few people through this meeting.’ - It was not done with this thought in mind.
Only under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we moved forward with the passion of the gospel, and the result was revival.
Now, we need to focus our attention on the ‘church-like church’ and ‘healthy church’.
The times are also urging the saints to become saints and the church to become more like churches.
In this sense, I think a common sense church that is faithful to the basics is a good church.
This is the same as saying that a saint faithful to the basics becomes a good saint.
The Lord calls for a good church. The times are looking for good churches.
No one makes a good church. But it is definitely ahead of us.
In this sense, in order for our Hongcheon Holiness Church to grow into a church-like church and saint-like saint this year,
I am trying to promote one-on-one discipleship as a basic pastoral policy.
This is not one of the many programs of the church,
It should be the essence of our church, and we want to make it the essence of our ministry.
Whatever the case, as long as you attend Hongcheon Holiness Church, you must obey, participate, and work together.
We have to do this together.
So in our church, cutie and one-on-one discipleship become two wings,
It will become a framework that makes the church the church and the saints the saints.
As we celebrate the founding day of the church today, I would like to offer you a few suggestions.
First, I want all members to make cutie a life.
Second, I hope that all district worship should be in the form of sharing, taking turns in each family.
Please join us actively.
Third, I hope that all the members of the church will participate in the one-on-one discipleship that will begin soon.
So, as the text says, you learn by the Word and grow in the faith.
I want to be a teacher to others.
We build and encourage each other so that we can grow into a complete community of Christ.
We earnestly hope to become our Hongcheon Holiness Church.
