Dancer Matthew 11:16-19, 2 Samuel 6:12-1
I saw a dance scene on AFKN TV one day. The content of the program was to invite a few guests and have a conversation with the moderator in an audience of about 30 people. In the final turn, the singer was invited to listen to the song.
But while listening to the singer's song, the host started dancing. As he danced, invited guests danced, and later everyone in the audience waved along. It was very nice to see, and it gave the viewer a sense of joy.
In the text, Jesus said that the flute does not dance, and the mourning does not beat the breast. When John the Baptist cried out for repentance while fasting, he said he had a demon, and while Jesus was eating and drinking while preaching, he accused him of being a glutton. At that time, Jews were negative people who did not know how to be moved. Jesus told us to be able to dance when you play the flute.
How can you become a dancer? In the Old Testament, the words of David dancing are found. When he became king and brought the ark to the City of David, David danced on the ark. They danced with all their might and leapt before the Lord. David, who danced before God, was loved by God and said that he was a man after my own heart. How could David dance?
David lost himself
When King David danced, he did not consider his status as a king. If he had considered his face, authority, and prestige, he would not have been able to dance in terms of face. When David danced, it was said that his wife, Michal, was displeased and despised. If David had been conscious of others, he would not have been able to dance. David only thought of God.
Great God, King God, when he said that the ark of the Covenant, which signifies the presence of God, was enshrined, he danced with joy and glory. A good dancer should not think of himself. When you see someone dancing mask dance, they dance with excitement. The reason is that he is covered.
Those who do not think about themselves and see the world without looking at the world in their life of faith live a life of faith. But when I think of myself and the world, I am afraid, embarrassed, and anxious, so I am passive in my life of faith. When the Israelites entered the land of Canaan, those who thought about the conditions of the world rather than the word of God did not enter the land of Canaan.
The reason Paul's life was a powerful life was because he saw the Lord, not himself. When he lost himself in prison and saw the Lord, he became a man of courage. People who follow the Lord without noticing the world are required. The Lord gave up the heavenly glory to save people and came into the world and received all kinds of contempt. We too must look to the Lord, worship Him, and follow Him.
people who breathe
When David danced, the priest carried the ark in front of him, and afterward, he sang with all kinds of musical instruments. David joined here and struck a joke. When the king danced, the choir members would have gained strength. When someone strikes a ball and dances when they are working, the work is refreshing.
It is said that a horse can pull a load with a weight of 4 tons. But how many tons can be pulled by two horses? According to the calculations, it would have to pull 8 tons, but in reality it can pull 24 tons. When combined, the power is multiplied. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “One man will be defeated, but two can be overcome; a threefold cord is not easily broken.”
In our country, many people are suffering from the economic cold wave right now. But you will find courage when you join forces with a spirit that dances everywhere.
open your heart together
No matter how good a dancer or a courageous person is, if their heart is closed, they cannot perform a good dance. Even in sermons, good sermons cannot come out if the preacher's heart is closed. Therefore, your heart must be open.
Open your heart, but first you must open the door of your heart with God. Having an open heart toward God is the basis for opening your heart in all things. When the door is opened in the relationship with God, the relationship between husband and wife, children, and friends can be opened well.
Opening your heart to God is first repentance. The second is longing. Therefore, when we sincerely repent and yearn for each other, our hearts will be opened. When the disciples repented and longed for them, the Holy Spirit worked and all their conflicts were resolved. I hope that you will open your heart and dance before the word of God and become a disciple who is loved by God.
