Title Matthew 05:9 The Peacemaker
Content Matthew 5:9
Living at peace with God and with all people is a life full of righteousness, peace, and joy. Such a life of peace is the life of heaven. Therefore, we must meet the Lord who asks for reconciliation.
God first reaches out the hand of reconciliation. When the prophet Elijah proclaimed God's judgment on Ahab, who had become extremely evil due to idolatry, God was greatly pleased when he showed "humility, with his clothes ripped, sackcloth tied around his waist, fasting and walking slowly" (1 Kings 21) . :27-29). Seeing only the small humbleness of Ahab, who was a sinner among sinners, God suddenly extended the hand of reconciliation. This is a word that shows the deep love of God that gives everyone a chance to be reconciled.
Saints! God does not want us to suffer and perish because of our sins. No matter what sin we have committed, God wants us to forgive all sins by coming as the Lord of the Cross and holding our hand with his bloody hands. I hope you will hold onto the hand of the Lord.
The way to be at peace with God is through worship. The Bible says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ" (Ro 10:17). The importance of worship is here.
Through the Word proclaimed during the worship service, the Holy Spirit is moved and influenced, and the Word is believed. And when we hold onto the word of faith, we receive the Holy Spirit and bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives. I hope to become a saint who lives such a life.
Blessed are the peacemakers. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9).
From the mouth of a 5-year-old child in our church who worships well, a praise came from the mouth of a "Cross, the cross, when I first saw the cross, the great pain in my heart disappeared and I believed today and my eyes were opened. Truly, my joy is eternal." It was a praise that I learned from my mother's lap during worship. Through that praise, God's peace came to the teachers and everyone who was there. Blessed are the peacemakers. The blessing that came upon that child also greatly fell on all those who were with him in faith. Hallelujah!
Dear brothers and sisters, I bless you that you will be at peace with God and enjoy the blessing of becoming a child of God.
