◎ Text summary and background
To escape the famine that struck the world, Jacob lives with his 12 sons in Egypt. This is the story of when Joseph became Prime Minister. As the years passed, a new king who did not know Joseph reigned, and Egypt's concerns arose. It is the Jews. As their number grows, it is considered a threat to the Egyptians. Pharaoh, ruling Egypt, uses a new policy. When Jews are born, a strict order is issued to put a boy into the river and leave a girl alive. Meanwhile, a woman of the Levites gave birth to a son. And, in disobeying the king's orders, he was raised for three months. The cries of the child were so loud that we could not raise them any longer. The decent child born at that time was Moses.
1. Moses' childhood
Moses' childhood was like walking on thin ice. It was a dangerous time of life and death. disease too. It's not an epidemic, it's the king's order to send the boy unconditionally into the river. When the parents floated on the Nile, they raised them at home and died together. The final decision was to disobey the king's orders and raise them for 3 months. Parents mourned that their child is now on the road to death. It became a sea of weeping. The father made a box out of reeds so that the child could float a little further, smeared it with bitumen, kept water out, and put a lid on the top. The older sister floats the child into the river to see who is taking the child and follows him from a distance. Then Pharaoh's princess went out to the Nile to take a bath, but when she heard the child crying, she took the child and made her her son. And because he got it out of the water, he gave him the name Moses. Moses learned all academics, military knowledge, and culture as a leader in the royal palace of Egypt for 40 years.
2. Failing Moses
Moses conducts a civil inspection one day. Moses saw the oppressed Jews and killed the Egyptian officials. Moses killed the Egyptians and ran into the wilderness, where he lived as a nomadic people for 40 years. When he is capable and ambitious, he makes mistakes and fails. He lived the life of a shepherd until his age of 80.
3. God Using Moses
God calls Moses out of a fire of thorns. The cry of my people has gone up to heaven. You are commanded to deliver my people from Egyptian oppression. When Moses was unable to lift his staff and his strength was waning, God calls him and uses him. Even today, when God rushes to say that we can do something, he leaves us alone and uses us as God's tools when we confess that we can't do it on our own.
