Title New Year's Resolution (Mark 09:23)

The new year has come. A completely different new year has come. A new year has come when the beautiful history of creation begins. A new year has come, the beginning of a joyful and happy history. Victory and success and a blessed new year have come.

A new year full of hope and excitement has arrived. A truly meaningful, rewarding, and precious New Year has come. Let's welcome this new year with faith. And we give thanks, praise and glory to God for giving us the new year.

Last year was a year of many difficulties for the country.

There was a great conflict between the university and the state due to the Han Chongryon incident, and the appearance of North Korean submarines in the Gangneung area made society uneasy, and the nation's sentiment shrank due to a huge trade deficit. In addition, society was chaotic due to the Labor Law and the Security Donation Law of the National Assembly, but on the other hand, God gave permission for a great harvest.

As we approach a new year, we must cast off the dark memories of yesterday and start fresh with a new heart. Because today is a different day from yesterday, and the new year is by no means different from last year.

In that sense, this time becomes the new year, new moon, new day, and the first hour for us to meet for the first time. Therefore, it is a meaningful time that passes once and will never be able to meet again.

Therefore, we cannot welcome the new year haphazardly, and it should be a year of new resolutions.

1. Decide to become a person of “holy spirit” in the new year.

It is very natural for the saints to have a holy heart. Holiness is the will and will of God. In Leviticus 11:44, 19:2 and 1 Peter 1:15-16, it is said, “Be holy, because I am holy.” The word holiness or holiness comes from the Hebrew word (kadosh), the Greek word for hagiasmos, and the English word (sanctibication), which means "holy", "without blemish, distinct, unique". If I can explain this verse again, it refers to sanctification in the state of 1) having the heart of Jesus Christ and 2) achieving the disposition of Jesus Christ.

Of course, I am not talking about absolute sanctification like Jesus did.

This can be called commercial sanctification.

Holiness is to be dead to sin, to resist sin, to forsake even the appearance of sin, to live without blemish and clean, but to live separately from the world.

To do that, our hearts must be sanctified.

The way to sanctify our hearts is to have our old self completely crucified and resurrected Jesus into our hearts.

In other words, it is a life where we receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit and live with the character of Christ and the heart of Christ. Such a person is trying to live by the highest Christian standards.

Therefore, a sanctified person does not think that he has been perfected, but always examines himself with a humble heart, keeps himself clean, sober and awake, and constantly strives to be perfect like our Lord, which is the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, mercy, Goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are efforts to bear fruit.

However, such a way is to be sanctified through the word of God and prayer (1 Timothy 4:5). Therefore, in order to achieve a holy spirit, we must fervently search the Word and pray without ceasing.

2. In the new year, let's make a resolution to think good thoughts and positive thoughts.

Human beings can be divided into two groups, those with negative thoughts and those with positive thoughts. Therefore, if you change your thoughts, your destiny will also change, and if your thoughts become sick, your destiny will also become sick.

According to the story of Numbers 13, before the Israelites took over the land of Canaan, two men from the 12 tribes were selected from the wilderness of Paran and sent to search the land of Canaan.

That is, the strength and weakness of the inhabitants of the land, and Tarsus, and the likes and dislikes of the land in which they live, whether the city inhabited is a camp or a fortress, and whether the land has succulents or trees. It was time to ripen. (Numbers 13:18-20).

But ten of the spies gave negative reports. They criticized the land and said, "It is a devouring land, and the people I have seen there are of great stature, and there we also saw the descendants of the Nephilim, the descendants of the Anaks, and the generals, and we saw ourselves as grasshoppers."

However, Joshua and Caleb, on the other hand, were positive people and reported good things. Two men tied large clusters of grapes to sticks, and brought pomegranates and figs, a very beautiful land, indeed a land flowing with milk and honey.

But do not rebel against the LORD, and we have departed from those who put the people of the land, and the LORD is with us.

In the end, their report was accepted, and only Joshua and Caleb enjoyed the blessing of entering into Canaanite welfare.

After all, the word positive is a religious language. Faith makes the impossible possible and entails miracles. Positive faith divides the Red Sea. A positive faith flattens even the high mountains.

Through the faith of Andrew, the miracle of 12 light bulbs remained even after feeding 5,000 people with five barley loaves and two fish, reflected in the eyes of a positive person. Positive people can.

do. They win. People who think they succeed.

Mark 9:23 says, "If it is possible, what do you mean? Nothing is impossible for him who believes." Matthew 19:26 says, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Zechariah 4:6 says, “Neither by strength nor by might, but Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”

Faith enables us to use positive language and produce wonderful miracles in our lives.

A positive person considers everything good. That is why I am a hopeful person who never despairs.

Let's live with joy. Let's live with gratitude. Let's treat all circumstances and the environment good. Positive people like others. Negative people like to expose the faults and mistakes of others.

Please take good care of my family members. Please respect the superiors and subordinates of your workplace.

Also, our ministers should look good at the church and look good at elders, evangelists, deacons, and all members of the church.

We hope that our prayers will be positive and our words will be positive. Such a person will be happy because of the blessing of his lips. A new sun has risen. I hope the new year will be a year of great things for you with positive thoughts and all-inclusiveness.

3. Blessings Those who welcome the new year do their best.

The most important character in the middle of the Chinese character is the character , sincerity.

That is why is said to be the way of heaven, and walking in the city is the way of man.

Also, the city is said to be the beginning and the end of all things. The Bible tells what the beginning of all things and the end of all things are, which is Jesus Christ. is the way to fulfill the way of Jesus Christ.

John 1:14 says, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” The word means 'the word was fulfilled'.

There is nothing that cannot be done if you do your best.

Looking back on human history, great achievements are the result of everyone's hard work. Magnificent architecture, bizarre works of art, great inventions - it's all the result of hard work.

To do your best means to do your best. Those who have accomplished valuable things in history are also those who have done their best.

Therefore, we must become a person who sweats with sincerity in the workplace given to us. Such a person is truly the person God wants, and the person desired by society and the workplace.

A new day has been given to us.

At the beginning of this new year, let us first sanctify our hearts. Holiness is the color of God, a life pleasing to God, and the soil of faith that bears fruit.

Let's improve our thinking and accept the given circumstances and environment of life as instructors with positive thinking.

In the meantime, let's cherish, love, and diligently pioneer our once-in-a-lifetime life.

If you do, [new will] will overflow in the Holy Spirit every day in the time and space given to us.
