Contents
Subject : Noah's Obedience
Word: Genesis 6:13-22
[13] And God said to Noah, The end has come before me, because the earth is full of violence of all flesh; I will destroy them along with the earth.
[14] You shall build for yourself an ark of cypress wood, and seal the livers in it, and paint the inside and the outside with bitumen.
[15] This is the system of the ark: it was three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high.
[16] You shall make a spear there, one cubit from the top, and the gate shall be made on the side, and it shall be three stories high, middle and low.
[17] I will bring a flood upon the earth, and will destroy from the earth any flesh that has the breath of life, and everyone on the earth shall die.
[18] But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall go into the ark with your sons and your wife and your wives.
[19] You shall bring every living creature of flesh and blood into the ark, male and female, pair, so that they may live with you.
[20] Two birds each after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and every creeping thing on the ground according to its kind
[21] You shall bring with you all the food you may eat, and save it; this will be for you and their food.
[22] So Noah did, but did according to all that God commanded him.

The book of Genesis speaks of the beginning of all things, the beginning of man, and the beginning of sin. Among them, the focus is on working out God's work of salvation through people of faith. No matter who you are, a person is either drunk on the world or filled with the Holy Spirit. God has come to judge the world full of sin. A man made in the image of God has given up his noble image and has fallen into sin and has come to depend only on his physical instincts. But God is more patient with Noah. And he made Noah ask the world for 120 years. I hope that God is still looking for people like Noah in this day and age. Who will God use? Today, I want to think about those words.
▶First, I hope you believe that fellowship with God is a blessed life.
In verse 13 of God's Word today, God said to Noah, "The earth is full of violence of all flesh, and its end has come before me, and I will destroy them along with the earth." God, the Lord of all things, was looking for Noah, who continued the precious tradition of faith. I hope you believe that living a godly life in fellowship with God like this is a blessed life.
God told Noah that He would judge a world full of sin. Even today, God is inviting many of His chosen people to come to the seat of salvation and the seat of grace. The possibility of salvation is wide open to everyone. However, I hope you believe that only those who believe with their hearts and confess with their mouths can enjoy the grace of salvation. Living in fellowship with the Lord is true happiness.
▶Secondly, please believe that God will give you wisdom so that you can fulfill your mission.
In verses 14-16 of the Lord's Word today, we read, 'You shall build an ark for yourself of cypress wood, and seal the livers in it, and paint the inside and the outside with bitumen. It is thirty cubits high, and a spear shall be made there, one cubit from the top, and the gates shall be made on the side, and the upper, middle and lower floors shall be three stories.” God instructed Noah to build a boat out of cypress wood. Using the units we use today, it would be 138 m long, 23 m wide, and 14 m high. The ships God instructed Noah to sail were not for sailing. It is made to float on water. Noah and his family looked only at God through the window above and entrusted their lives to God's absolute sovereignty. Everyone, I believe that those who are saved through Jesus should only look to the Lord and live.
▶Thirdly, God allows us to live a blessed life through the hardness of life.
In verses 17-19, which the Lord gave us today, we read, “I will bring a flood on the earth, and all flesh that has the breath of life will be annihilated from under the earth, and everyone on the earth will die. But I will establish my covenant with you; You shall go into the ark with your wife and your sons-in-law, and you shall bring every living creature of flesh and blood into the ark, one male and one female, so that they may live with you.' There are two types of people living in the world. There are people that God seeks and uses, and there are people that God forsakes. In Hebrews 11:7, God writes, “By faith Noah, being warned of things not yet seen, fearfully prepared an ark to save his house, through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is by faith.” There is. It is said that he prepared the ark by faith because he was warned of things unseen.
▶Fourth, I hope you believe that God's covenant is completed through absolute obedience and absolute devotion.
In verses 20-22 of the Lord's word today, we read, 'The birds will come to you by their kind, the livestock according to their kind, and every creeping thing on the ground according to its kind, two of each. Bring it to you and save it, and it will be for you and their food. So did Noah, but he did all that God commanded him.'
The important thing in Noah's life is that he trusted completely and did what God commanded him to do. There is a clear difference between seeing from the point of view of faith and from the point of view of the world. Recognizing God's absolute sovereignty is the basis of faith. Faith is believing God's words of revelation and showing them in action in our lives.
☞Dear Sandoll Saints~
God's grace is not counted. Only those who acknowledge the absolute sovereignty of God realize who they are. Those who realize themselves will discover their mission, and to those who have discovered the mission, God gives wisdom so that they can fulfill the mission. This is the content of today's event in which God made the ark through Noah. Ladies and gentlemen, God was looking for the righteous Noah in a world full of sin. And he called and wrote Noah. Even today, there are people who are seeking to accomplish God's work on this earth. I earnestly pray in the name of the Lord that you will be used by God and become all of us Sandoll Church who do not forget that you are God's people.
