Sermons for Preaching

Title Number 12:1~16 Miriam's Leprosy

Introduction: Criticizing and doubting God's servant Moses' calling (1~16)

The spirit of accusations and complaints covers the world today, and almost everyone is possessed by that spirit.

It permeates the attitudes and language of most people.

Among them, the people who receive criticism and hear complaints are the ministers of God (because they are judged by high standards).

Behind the criticism, there is something more than that. That is, it is a spiritual battle against ministers (because we are called to serve God and His people).

This is one of Satan's important strategies to pour criticism and complaints on ministers.

Criticism may also start from close friends or family members. (Miriam and Aaron doubt Moses' calling) (1~16)

2. God's discipline and judgment (4-12)

3. God's Mercy and Mercy (13-16)

Moses' brothers and sisters revolted against him and questioned his leadership.

The people began to advance to the promised land not even three days

People began to complain about their leadership, and God disciplined and judged them (Numbers 111 3).

People began to complain about their food. God gave the second chastisement (Numbers 11:4-35).

Things to remember: Moses was greatly discouraged when the people constantly criticized and complained.

Moses asks God to kill me because they are in pain (Numbers 11:15).
