Title Number 14 The Fruit of Lips

fruit of lips
Numbers 14:1 45
People do not gain anything by suffering bones from their limbs. Sometimes, in one word, you lose everything and sometimes you get what you want. This is a biblical principle.
“A man is satisfied by the fruit of his mouth, and by the fruit of his lips he is satisfied” (Proverbs 18:20). Even those who did not know the Bible knew the value of words from experience. “One word pays off a thousand nyang debt,” said our ancestors. You shouldn't do stupid things where you have to suffer hard with your hands and feet and lose it with a single word. In Numbers 14, we see that God made the words of his lips come to pass.
When the Israelites heard the evil words of ten of the Canaanite spies, they were greatly disappointed and wept and wept, saying that it would be better for them to die in the wilderness. Then he raised a leader and asked them to go back to Egypt. Verses 1-4
As they said, they died in the wilderness. 34-35
The ten spies who spoke evil words died immediately. 36-37
In fact, the current situation of the people of Israel was suitable for complaining and speaking negatively. The enemy had well-trained soldiers, well-armed, and strong castles. The Israeli army was not trained, had no good weapons, and had to fight the enemy defenseless. However, there were those who saw this situation in faith and spoke by faith. It was Joshua and Caleb. All conditions were unfavorable, as the people were disappointed, but they had a way to turn these unfavorable conditions into favorable conditions. “If the LORD is pleased with us, he will bring us into that land and give it to us, a land flowing with milk and honey.” Even if all conditions are unfavorable, let us look to God with faith and speak with faith, and then the words of faith will come to pass.
There was another person who spoke by faith. That's Moses Moses heard God's plan to destroy the Israelites. Verse 12 I also knew that God does not forgive people who have sinned. Section 18. But he believes in God's mercy and prays.
In order that the Gentiles would not misunderstand that God was powerless and killed the people he had led in the wilderness, verses 15-16, he asked for forgiveness through the mercy he had forgiven until now. As Moses said, the people were not completely destroyed at that moment. Although Moses had already confirmed what God had done, he earnestly asked for it to change his will, and the sins of the people were forgiven, and all those under the age of 20 survived and entered Canaan.
How to Speak Faith - If you have something good, say something good.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil person brings evil out of the evil stored up in his heart; for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45).
You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). You must always be filled with the Word of God.
Even if evil thoughts arise and you have evil feelings, if you ask for forgiveness and speak good words and words of faith, God will accept them.
