Today is Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is the act of proclaiming to all Jerusalem that Jesus is the Son of God and Savior by riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. As for the day of the week, He was crucified on Friday. The Crucifixion is the most amazing and important event since creation.
When Jesus was crucified
One hundred days were matte.
He said that from the sixth hour to the ninth hour was full of darkness. It is an event that shows that Jesus Christ is the one who came as the light, that is, the light itself. It shows that if you leave Jesus, whether it is your country, your family, or your heart, you are in a world of darkness. It is also the supernatural work of God that announces the time of lamentation and mourning of Jesus' death.
The veil of the sanctuary was torn, the rocks were torn, and the earth shook.
The first thing that happened after Jesus died was that the veil of the sanctuary was torn. Now, in the name of Jesus, the way has been opened so that anyone can come boldly before God. Now, it is not a visible temple, but it is showing that the Lord Himself is a temple.
The tombs were opened and many of the dead were raised to life.
This heralds the resurrection of Jesus. Also, Jesus is the Lord of life, and it heralds the resurrection of all people in the Lord.
the pain of the cross
Physical pain.
The rushing pain is the worst pain, and Jesus cried out loudly. In the midst of such suffering, he took a sponge and made it drink with sour wine, but he did not drink it.
Forsaken.
The most painful heart among the sufferings of the cross is being abandoned.
ridicule.
A greater disgrace than being beaten was being ridiculed. Thousands of people mocked Jesus by saying, “Let's see if Elijah will save us”, “If you are the Messiah...”
There was someone watching.
God personally watched over you.
The centurion and a large crowd watched.
The women watched.
