Bible Text: Romans 10:11-15

One Lord

Lee Seong-gye was a military officer and was nicknamed Jingu (神弓) as a hero who rode horses and shoot arrows well. One night while he was sleeping, he had a dream where he saw two rams fighting in a house on fire. He grabbed the two horns with both hands, and the horns were broken. This time he grabbed the tail, and the tail fell out and the ram ran away. After waking up from the dream, I went to the ambassador of Muhak early in the morning and talked about the dream of last night. The ambassador heard the story of the dream and patted his knee and said, “It is Gilmong. The two horns (‘ ’) and tail () are missing from the sheep, so there is only the king, the king. It's my dream to become a king, so please improve yourself more in the future.” He became the first king of Joseon according to his dream. He was Lee Seong-gye, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty.

“One Lord became Lord of all” (verse 12). Jesus was born as “Lord” at birth. “Today in the city of David a Savior has been born, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).

He is the Lord of all who believe.

One Lord is Lord to all who believe.

The Colossae Church is a church that primarily believed in Jesus. “Therefore, since you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him, standing firm in the faith as you have been entangled, abounding in thanksgiving” (Colossians 2:6-7).

When it comes to Jesus as their Lord, “In Him are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). The Lord is the One who has the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. To say that you have received Jesus as Lord means that you have received Jesus, who has the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, as the Lord of your life.

Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame, for there is no difference between Jew and Greek.

When Jesus is my Lord, he leads me. He will be my captain, and he will be my ruler, my ruler.

Thomas said he couldn't believe until he saw the resurrected Jesus. Jesus appeared to him and said, “Stretch out your hand and put it in his side, and do not be a believer, but be a believer.” Then he said, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). It was after meeting the resurrected Jesus that we received Jesus as our Lord.

Believe in Jesus properly. Let him take control of you. Even if I have ruined my life, He will rebuild my life. Delivers you from all shame and shame. If you receive Jesus as Lord, you will see the glory. “And those whom he predestined he called, and those whom he called he justified, and those whom he justified he glorified” (Romans 8:30).

It is the Lord who makes those who call on him rich.

One Lord makes those who call on his name rich.

“...the one Lord is Lord of all, and he is rich to all who call on him” (verse 12). Wealth means wealth, wealth, abundance. Who are you making wealthy? “Everyone who calls on him.”

The name Jesus means the one who delivers his people from their sins. “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (verse 13).

As Jesus was leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus, who was blind, was sitting by the roadside. When he heard it was Jesus, he cried out, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! I did. The people rebuked him and said, “Be still.” He cried out even more, “Son of David, have mercy on me.” Jesus stopped and said, “Call on me.” When people say they are calling you, you throw off your cloak and go to Jesus.

Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Teacher, I want to see you.” Jesus said, “Go, your faith has saved you.” Immediately he saw and followed Jesus on the road (Mark 10:46- 52). He called Jesus. “Son of David!” When I told him to be quiet, he called out louder.

First listen, then believe, then pray. God wants to bless those who ask. It is not appropriate in the eyes of God to survive without being freed from anxiety and worry.

Bartimaeus was a blind beggar. He saw and rose from shame. He called the name of the Lord and changed his address from the world of darkness to the world of light.

The name Jabez in the Old Testament means pain, suffering, and heartache. Jabez could have been hampered by pain and heartache. However, he did not get caught up in a sense of inferiority and defeat. He asked God for blessings. “You have blessed me on my neck, so that I can enlarge my borders; help me with your hand, so that I may be out of trouble and have no sorrow.” And he granted what he asked for.

It is a bold prayer and a courageous prayer. According to his destiny, he was a man who had to live in pain as a loser. However, Jabez shook off his inferiority complex and prayed, “Bless you and expand my territory.” God fulfilled his prayer. Please change from the attitude of a survivor who is struggling to live, to the attitude of Jabez who prays, “Blessings will be added to you.” It is a prayer to add faith to faith and grace to grace. A person develops when the will and action to break through the limits follow. To hear the echo, I have to make my own sound.

“I came that they might have life and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

He is the Lord to whom all saints must preach.

The One Lord must be preached by all the saints.

Without a preacher, we cannot hear or believe. “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (verse 14). You cannot call without believing. You have to tell to hear, and you have to listen to believe.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners, Declare the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to give wreaths to all who mourn in Zion, to replace their ashes, and oil of joy for sorrow; Instead, let them show the tree of righteousness, the glory that the LORD has planted...” (Isaiah 61:1-3).

This is the Bible that Jesus read in the temple. After reading these words, I accepted that Jehovah had poured out his holy spirit on me to preach the good news, the “gospel.”

He says that those who have accepted the gospel will be healed of broken hearts, those who are sad will be comforted, wreaths will replace ashes, praise will replace sorrow, and they will become trees of righteousness that reflect the glory of the Lord.

The power of the gospel is great. “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and then to the Greek. In the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, from faith to faith; but the righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:16-17).

“How can they preach unless they have been sent? It is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news…” (verse 15) An apostle is a person who has been sent. Apostolic faith is the level of faith at which one is sent.

Your feet are beautiful because they go to preach the gospel. If handwritten texts preach the gospel, “Beautiful hands that preach the gospel!” If you preach the gospel with your mouth, you can say, “You are beautiful, you who preach the gospel!”

Mr. Lee received Jesus as his Lord and prayed like this. “It is a very small amount of power, but the only thing I have is the humble ability to write and speak.

The Apostle Paul wanted to preach the gospel “no matter what.” When I went to prison, I preached to the jailer in prison. I wrote letters to people I couldn't meet, evangelized and comforted the members. “As far as I can, I want to preach the gospel to you who are also in Rome” (Romans 1:15).

Jesus called us, He taught us, and He sends us. It is thanks to the person who preached the gospel to me that I came to believe. I, too, have to get someone to believe “no matter what”. Debtor (Romans 1:14), please preach the One Lord with all your heart.

Anyone who believes in “one Lord” will not be put to shame. Shame is gone and you are clothed in glory. Whoever serves him as Lord will be saved and will become rich. “Ask of me, and I will give the nations as your inheritance, and your possessions to the ends of the earth” (Psalm 2:8).

Preach him. One Lord Jesus! After being healed, a man possessed by a demon wanted to follow the Lord, but the Lord told him to go home and tell your family. He preached the Lord who healed him not only to his family but also to the Decapolis. He preached in ten local cities (Mark 5:20).

“He who is wise will shine like the light of the firmament, and he who turns many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).
