Title Only Yahweh

The second commandment is much older than the first commandment, and it is a commandment that characterizes Yahweh's religion much better. Different peoples serve other gods and make their images, but you should never do that. This command and the thought of “see the Lord, and you shall die” appearing throughout the Old Testament are interconnected. It also coincides with the idea that Yahweh God is not a God of sight, but a God of hearing. This thought asserts that Yahweh God, as the Creator, can never be the work of man. Yahweh made man, man cannot make Yahweh. In other words, God is a free transcendent and Creator who cannot be trapped in human works. It is said that this kind of thinking developed the religion of Yahweh differently from other religions, and raised the religiosity of Israel to a very high and unique level.
This is also the case in the New Testament. In the exclusive Bible verses found in the New Testament, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" (John 14:5-6), "In the name given to man, there is no one who can save us. There is only this name.” (Acts 4:11-12), etc., all stressing “only Jesus”. What we need to think about here is that these verses all testify to the struggle that the community of Jesus faith must go through at that time. The emphasis on “only” and “only” in these verses is that when the Christian community, a feeble and insignificant group, is threatened by the larger Jewish community, Christians are justifying their belief in the crucified but risen Jesus. They emphasized "Only in Jesus" to establish their identity.
