Title Paul's Missionary View (Romans 11:25-32)
(1) Paul was convinced that the hardening of the Jewish heart was not total or permanent. It is for a specific purpose and will disappear when that purpose is achieved. It was to open the way for the gospel and salvation to the Gentiles, and once the way is opened, it will disappear.
1. What is mission?
(1) What is the difference between evangelism and missions? Often, when it comes to evangelism, it refers to domestic evangelism and missions refers to overseas evangelism. In that sense, evangelism and missions have the same meaning, but their usage is different.
(2) Let's think about the necessity of missionary work. Mission is, in a word, war. is to fight. Mission is to fight with the devil, save those who are possessed by the devil from hell, and move them to heaven. So it's a fight. Missionary work is difficult. War is difficult, dangerous, and reluctant to do, but it is also inevitable. Also, when a war begins, it must be won.
(3) Mission is a command from God and a request from Jesus. As Jesus commanded, “You must evangelize,” you must do it even if it is difficult and painful. Jesus came to this world as an evangelist and missionary.
(4) Mission is the earnest wish of souls who have gone to hell. In Luke 16 there is a record of a rich man and Lazarus. They all died over the years. But the rich man fell to hell and had to suffer forever in the fire of brimstone for 10, 50, 100, thousand, or billions of years. Hot and thirsty. But I see heaven. Lazarus, a beggar who was fucking at his doorstep while he was alive, dressed in glory, sat in the ranks of the angels, sang Hallelujah, and received God's love in the arms of Abraham. A rich man pleads with God in hellfire. I asked Lazarus to wet his finger with water and dip his tongue in it. God said that God's servants are evangelizing in the world. Everyone! Those living beings suffering in hell are crying out to my people to evangelize. Are you hearing this sound? Mission is a war we hate to do, but it is a command, a request from Jesus, the cry of souls who have gone to hell, and a wish. We must evangelize no matter how hard it is.
2. How should a missionary prepare?
(1) We must pray. The Lord fasted and prayed in the wilderness for 40 days before his mission. How can we fight the devil without prayer and without the help of the Holy Spirit? Our battle must be won by fighting the devil, but can we overcome the devil with human knowledge? Only those who pray and receive the power of the Holy Spirit will win. War has to be won to be effective.
3. What should the missionary's attitude be?
(1) You must always have a heart to glorify God. You must be moved by the grace that you have received and confess, “Thank you for choosing me to be an office of glory.” You must have a heart to love God more than the money and authority of the world and to give glory to God's name.
(2) The heart that loves life.
(3) We must be prepared to bear the sufferings of the cross. Since Jesus took up the cross, I will also take up the cross and follow it. I have a heart that can bear hardships with courage.
(4) It is an attitude of trusting only in God and carrying out missions boldly. Even if the whole world forsakes me, I must believe that the Lord Jesus will not forsake me and take care of me to the end.
(5) Waiting for the crown, you must have the heart of wishing for the crown dictation. In a world like mist, what do you need, praise of earthly work, and hospitality on earth? You must have an attitude of mind looking at the crown of heaven.
4. A missionary's job
(1) Always grateful, always patient, always service.
(2) Always pray, always keep your position, and always boast only about Jesus. What do you need to brag about what you were like in the past and what I did and fasted for 40 days? It is enough to be proud of Jesus. A certain church member offers to serve food to the clergy. The reason is that this visit may be the last, so I will treat you to it. May God bless those who treat us in the name of the Lord.
5. The nation, the church, and the individual sending the missionaries have been blessed. How many missionaries are sent to Earth? Looking at the countries that sent missionaries, the United States sent 35,000 people, followed by France, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, England, and other European countries, sending about 20,000. Next is Australia. We sent 2,000 people, and our country sent 52 people. There are no personal, family, church, country, or country that cannot do missionary work before God, and the devil's hand does not come close to the country where we do missionary work. become a developed country. Their descendants will be blessed. We pray that our church will become a country that fulfills its mission well.
