Meditation: How can we taste true peace?

Text: "Pray for peace for Jerusalem, and those who love Jerusalem prosper..." (Psalm 122:6-9)
There is something everyone in the world wants. Peace. There are two words for peace or peace. Pax and shalom. Shalom was used by the Hebrew people in an internal and spiritual sense. The Hebrews gladly exchanged the greeting "Shalom" with the healthy and the successful, as well as the sick and the unsuccessful. This peace signifies the noble peace that comes from above.
Pax was the peace sought by the Romans, which meant equating the world with material satisfaction or law and power. But they did not seek true peace. Why? Because worldly power cannot bring true peace. True peace comes from God.
David became king and built a strong nation, but when he thought about the ark of God, his heart became frustrated and he decided to move the ark to the City of David. The ark was stolen by the Philistines when Eli was the priest, and then roamed the land of the Philistines for 7 months. And the ark was left unattended in the house of Abinadab in the land of Kiriath-jearim after passing through Beth-shemesh. After 70 years, King David, who conquered Jerusalem, wanted to move the ark from Abinadab's house to the City of David. However, due to the failure of the first transport, the ark was temporarily stored in the house of Obed-edom, a Gathite, and finally, three months later, the ark was transported to the City of David. Then David praised God with a loud voice. Praise the peace of the earth (verses 6-7), and praise the blessings of the Lord's house (verse 9). Surprisingly, God fulfilled all David's wishes.
Today we too should be able to seek peace from God. That peace is the peace that God gives. Then why are people afraid and anxious while living in the world? It's because I can't think right. It is also because of sin. what is sin Anything not done by faith is sin (Romans 14:23). So there can be no peace of mind. What is taking away my joy today? How can we escape from anxiety and fear and enjoy the peace that God has given us. must be saved. What should I save? We must seek the peace of the family and seek the peace of the country.
Prayer: God of love, help me to live on this earth and enjoy the peace that you give me. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
