Title Philippians 3:1-9

This is what I am going to say goodbye to today.
Let's be consistent.
Today Paul is talking about the greatest way to be that consistent person.
1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord, for it is no trouble for me to write the same thing to you, and it is safe for you.
You don't know how important it is to rejoice in the Lord.
Listen to what Paul has to say.
To say this is not to say that it is troublesome. And it will be rather safe for you.
Why are you saying this?
2 Beware of dogs, beware of evildoers, beware of circumcision
Because we live in a situation that can be easily stained.
dog?
A dog without parents or siblings.
Even in the Bible, it is said that vomit is also eaten.
And as an extension of the same concept...
He's an evildoer...
And a little more. Furthermore. .It is called Sonhalyedang.
A dog-like person... an evildoer... Hand circumcision...
It is easy to say that we are not, but it means people who can habitually resemble us so naturally.
so that..
Paul leaves his toil behind and does not consider it cumbersome.
It is a call to rejoice in the Lord.
They naturally create habits for me.
naturally..
Around us...
While not saying no... it's so natural...
Just as the Israelites naturally accepted the culture and left the Lord...
For it is very natural to leave God. . Paul urges.
3 We who serve by the Spirit of God, who boast in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, are the circumcision, and serve by the Spirit.
Praise Christ...
Rather than boasting...
Those who have circumcised their hearts to reveal God...
These are the true Circumcision Halls.
Rather than brag about it...
Even if no one else knows...
Even if I exalt others... I can do such things without being revealed...
Such a person is a person who serves with the Holy Spirit.
Look at Paul.
4 But I also have confidence in the flesh, especially if anyone thinks that he has confidence in the flesh
5 I was circumcised on the eighth day, of the house of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews, as to the law a Pharisee;
6 For zeal, persecuting the church; for the righteousness of the law he was blameless.
Paul wasn't the kind of person who was physically compared to other people.
By comparison, he's definitely an outstanding person.
But... he wants to become a person who does not trust in the flesh but serves in the Spirit.
If you look at the text...
Don't you think Paul is cool?
He is a person to be proud of.
That's why... He said that he gave up what he had for something nobler than everything he had... Isn't that what people eat?
To put this in our own way...
We need to live well and succeed.
You must succeed. You have to experience everything.. You have to throw away what you have experienced like a devoted partner and be able to tell people about it.
In the Old Testament..
At least it was Solomon.
I wrote the Song of Songs and Ecclesiastes. Isn't it edible?
7 But whatever things were useful to me, I counted them all as loss for the sake of Christ.
8 And I count all things as loss, because the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord is the noblest; for for his sake I lose all things, and count as dung I gain Christ.
9 to be found in him, which I have not righteousness from the law, but through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God by faith.
Today we need to hear what Paul has to say.
You thought it was all good?
The first of these is to know Christ.
More than anything.
in Christ...
It's my heart that wants to be found...
That's right.
The greatest blessing in life is to abide in God forever.
Then you will always live like God. Hallelujah.
