Title Philippians 03:10-12 Full Tithing
Content Text Philippians 3:10-12
Title Whole Tithe
Many people in the world want to be blessed. So some people bow down to stones or trees. Others cut off the pig's head, put money in the pig's nose, and pray for good luck while bowing down. They earnestly wish for blessings on what they have created. What do you guys think when you see this?
Today, at this hour, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will be blessed by the word of God, the Lord of all things in the universe, that you will receive blessings both physically and spiritually and in the name of the Lord. Everyone wants to be blessed. However, blessings are not given for free, but come when we follow certain rules. A farmer can only obtain a bountiful harvest by obeying the laws of nature, making good use of them. This law applies in all areas of human life.
Just as all blessings have certain rules and principles, there are laws of blessings that believers must follow in the world of faith. This is a blessing from God. Among them, tithing is God's promise that is particularly related to material blessings. God's blessings are directly related to tithing.
I hope that among you there will be young people who pay the most tithing in our country. I want you to have the youngest tithe payers in the world.
There is a famous New Zealand rich man named Robert Lady, whose book "Why! Should I Tithe?” The book has been translated into 30 languages. At the age of 18, he received a salary of $3 a week and decided to pay tithing. Two years later, he took 15%, the next 20%, the next 25%, and gave it as a tithe. When he was 25, he decided to give it 50% and fulfilled it as promised. Afterwards, 45 years later, he testified, "I have been blessed 100 times spiritually and materially. Ever since I started giving God's share accurately at the age of 18, I have received God's blessings more than I expected."
In verse 10, God tells us to test God's blessings through tithing.
I hope you all give your full tithe by faith at this time today. Tithing is definitely the seed of blessing. Do you know what kind of results God will give you if you sow the seeds of blessing of tithing?
First, you will receive spiritual blessings.
Martin Luther said, "Man must be born again in two ways, one must be born again spiritually and the other must be born again with a money bag." True freedom of the soul comes from paying tithing. I hope that there are no spiritual lies before God.
It is very difficult for us humans to act according to the Word of God. We are too short to do that. However, there is only one thing that can be done according to the will of God. That is to pay a full tithe of your income. Those who cannot pay full tithes before God are not proud, so they always have shameful thoughts before God and lead a life of faith. There is no freedom of the soul. Therefore, you cannot receive the blessing of the soul.
By paying full tithing, you can grow spiritually and gain true spiritual freedom in the Lord.
Second, you will receive the blessing of the heart.
God said, "Look, it is not poured out so that there is no room for building up." We who rely on and believe in this Word can live with abundance and confidence in our hearts because of this Word. When you live an honest life of faith, you will find peace in your heart.
It is because we have not paid our tithes fully because we fail day and night, but we do not know how to give with a happy heart to God, we do not know how to give thanks, and we do not have true peace of mind. The expression of a Christian's faithful life is tithing. Paying tithing means obeying God's Word. I hope that all of you will become precious young people who lead a transparent life of faith before God by tithing.
Third, you will receive material blessings.
The Bible says, “If you pay a full tithe, I will forbid the locusts from consuming the produce of your land, so that the fruit of the vines of your fields will not fall before the due date, and I will make your land beautiful and you will be blessed” (Mal 3:11- 12) said. If we do not believe in this clear covenant of God today, it is evidence that our faith is not faithful.
A man named James Nealby from Tennessee, USA, had a huge success as a life insurance company. When asked about his secret to success, he replied:
“I started tithing in the most difficult time. At that time, I thought that the only way to honor God was by paying tithing, relying on the words, 'Whoever honors me, I will honor' (1 Samuel 2:30). Then God respected me and blessed me, and now I am a successful person that everyone admires.”
He boldly testifies that tithing is the key to success.
Only those who have tithing can fully tithe. You pay tithes to God again because you have clearly received the blessings God has given you. When we make material sacrifices, God pours abundant blessings not only on me but also on my descendants.
Living with God first, believing in God's truth, "See, I will open the gates of heaven and pour out no room for you to accumulate blessings" (Mal 3:10) Congratulations on being open.
Tithing is the seed of blessing. Giving is the seed of blessing. Let us all sow the seeds of blessing. Tithing and offerings are not a matter of money. It's a matter of faith. It's a matter of decision. If you make a decision at this time today, please believe that He will fill you with our faith, material, and hallway overflowing. Let's plant a lot. Let's do our best to plant. God blesses you. And let us pray like this. “God, please bless me so that I can tithe even with my pocket money, even though it is small.”
A rural church in England made a donation for a medical project in Africa. When the offering basket came back in front of him, a boy put it on his seat and strode onto it.
The boy blinked his eyes when he stood up, startled by the strange behavior. "I don't have the money to give right now, but I'll give my whole to the sake of Africa." This boy is Livingstone, Africa's first doctor and first missionary.
Dear Mokyang Church youth, Let us all sow the seeds of blessing. When it comes to giving, the material itself is important, but the heart of the person giving the material is more important. God speaks to these people in Philippians 4:19. "My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Shall we talk about an episode about tithing?
At this time, the child who went to the pastor's house to play was shocked. He has never tithing before. But I was surprised to see the pastor's children set tithing whenever they had income. This child did not tithe even when relatives and adults occasionally gave him pocket money. I didn't even get my pocket money on a regular basis. So he must have thought he didn't have enough income to tithe.
How are you? Do you think I have no income yet? Have you been unable to tithe because you do not have a fixed income because you do not have a job? Whether I make money or not is a matter of later. Do we have an income even if we don't have a job? Do you have occasional money or regular pocket money? Do you recognize today's saying that no matter what income I have, 10% of it must be returned to God and then God will give me many blessings?
Work hard to get things right. I hope you have full faith and character in that material. Use the material correctly and make it a tool of God to change the world. Never forget. When a person leaves this world and stands before God, he does not carry the materials he has collected from this world. You must go completely empty-handed. Matter is never our eternal object. It is only a means.
Man must have a sense of stewardship that all matter belongs to God. You must have a sense of stewardship to gather materials correctly. You can also use it correctly. A person with a sense of stewardship does not collect material in an unrighteous way. Nor is it squandered for depravity and self-indulgence.
David confessed that everything he had came from God. So, he lived a life of getting things right and using them correctly throughout his life. Paying tithes to God does not mean that only one tenth is God's and the rest is mine. It is the steward's confession that all the material given to him belongs to God, and as a token of his confession, he sets out a tenth and gives it to God. That is why you cannot use the remaining nine tenths for your own lusts and desires. Its owner also belongs to God.
