Title Philippians 03:12-14 Forgetting the latter

Forgetting what is behind the content (Philippians 3:12-14)

You should have a good start.

If you start well the first time, you can reach your destination.

The lesson revealed in the confession of the Apostle Paul in the text

We would like to share the grace with you.

1. He said that it is still not enough.

In verse 12, Paul strongly denies his accomplishments.

It's not that I've already got it, it's not that I've finished it.

but to take hold of that for which I was captured by Christ Jesus

I follow you, verse 13 is the same negation.

Brethren, I do not think that I have yet taken hold of ...

no ... no ... no and no ...

Again and again, Paul humbly denies his achievements.

In other words, he always felt that he was lacking.

He was a man of great duty, and he was the source of the faith of many.

He was an object, a powerful servant of the Lord, and a perfect believer.

Nevertheless, it is still not enough.

This is not about one's situation or situation, but a little more

This is not to say that I regret not having what I should have.

As a believer, I do not pursue perfection or perfectionism.

This is a creative attitude for spiritual progress.

We need to grow a little more, worrying about accomplishing God's will a little more.

It is a confession that needs to be a little more advanced.

It can be said that it is a lack of spiritual aspect and a thirst for spiritual aspect.

It can be said that it is a desire for further expansion of the kingdom of God.

Galatians 6:3 says, "If you think that you are not, you deceive yourself.

1 Corinthians 10:12 says, “He who thinks he is standing, let him be careful lest he fall.”

I did.

We also need to think about what a tribe is.

I have to think about what needs to be filled in.

A person who grows up is one who feels his lack.

2. He said that the latter should be forgotten.

To forget here means not to be dominated or influenced by the past.

If you dwell on the past, you cannot move forward.

There have been failures in life. There was also the pain of human relationships.

Some have lost, some have been hurt. There are trials, tribulations, and pains.

There were times when I struggled in sin.

All of this is behind the scenes.

If you dwell on the past, this person cannot move forward.

Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us put away every heavy thing and the sin that so easily entangles us.

I did.

How can a runner run when he looks back?

In Luke 9:62, Jesus said, “He who puts his hand to the plow and looks back

He said he was not fit for the kingdom of God.

We must forget what we did well and what we did well.

If you dwell on the ball and think about what you did well in the past, you

You will see and be disappointed.

From Ephesians 2:22, Paul says, “You follow the lust of

Put off the customs that follow the decaying old customs,

but be renewed in the spirit to follow God

Put on the new man, which was created in righteousness and holiness of truth."

The stupidest person in the world is the one who clings to the past.

Paul had a splendid past of his own. (Phil 3:5-7)

But it all counted as excrement.

We must not only forget what we did wrong in the past, but also what we did well

Forget it.

10 stumbling blocks to success

said:

1) A person with a lack of thinking 2) A person with a theory of fate A person who believes in one's own business

3) Those who lack long-term vision, those who are short-sighted

4) A person who lives with unrealistic goals

5) A person who acts excessively 6) A person who is lazy

7) People who don't invest 8) People who give a lot of excuses

9) People who give up easily 10) People who lack determination.

A pencil has an eraser.

The devil keeps making records of the past, but God

Repent now and stand right now and build the things of the past

He is the present God who makes a fresh start.

3. You must run towards the target.

Here, the apostle Paul teaches Jesus Christ, the target.

It was to be formed in Christ

The Apostle Paul said that he runs for 'one thing only'.

He says 'only one thing'. This is his dream.

This is his life goal. That's what that life is all about.

The mission God gave him, 'Apostle to the Gentiles', 'Salvation of the World Mankind', and the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom were his whole life.

A person with a clear purpose is different from the eyes.

A person who lives with a clear dream and purpose has a different attitude to life.

Because they have dreams.

Because it has a purpose.

The poorest person in the world is not a beggar.

I am not poor. not an orphan.

The most pitiful and pitiful people in the world are those without dreams. A person without a goal is shaken. Difficulties and hardships cannot be overcome.

However, those who have a vision, that is, a goal, lead the future creatively.

adventure. Let your goals guide your life.

Truman Capout said, "A man who does not dream is like a man who does not sweat. Such a man only accumulates a lot of poison."

Livingston, who spent his whole life preaching the gospel in Africa, said this prayer.

"My King, my life, my everything, Lord!

I give my life, my whole life, to the Lord."

He wanted to meet Jesus and live a life for Jesus, and he gave his life to the Lord to repay the Lord's grace.

That's right.

Now, we must live our lives for the Lord, a life that looks to the Lord as the goal.

In conclusion, those who run toward a goal have a reward before God.

He prepares what is given from heaven and what is eternal.

Those who advance toward their dreams will know that a great reward awaits them.

The Apostle Paul speaks of running for the 'reward of the calling'. We also believe that God's blessing awaits us for the 'reward of calling' that the Apostle Paul spoke of.

The highest honor for an athlete is a gold medal.

A laurel wreath of victory is worn.

Also, all the spectators in the stadium stand up and give a standing ovation.

When we rely on the Lord and feel spiritually lacking, forgetting what is behind us and aiming for Christ as the goal, we do our best to obey and go out, we are sure that we will receive the reward of the great promise in the end.

Now, grab hold of these words and lead a better life of blessing, progress and growth.

I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will be amazingly different, clearing the past of the past and making a fresh start.
