work hard
Philippians 3:13-14
Nothing in the world just happens. To achieve something, you have to work very hard.
It is truly a blessing to serve in the church. The blessing of serving in the church is that the greatest grace and greatest secret that God bestows upon us lies in those who serve in the church. No matter what kind of problem we have, we are supposed to get answers while serving in God's church, and to be able to fill our vessels with the comfort and blessings that God gives us. During the month of February, I pray that you will serve diligently in your work like Paul.
1. Expect to be rewarded.
Paul said, “I run for the reward that lies ahead.” Paul always expects a reward. I did my best for it and ran. Paul compares faith to a race. Confess that just as a runner has a reward, there is a reward at the end of faith. Those who have hopes and futures and what they sow today have hope. And those who have expectations are bound to run. Then it will be accomplished.
Dr. Norman Peel “Have a dream” To have a dream, you must first have three images. One is to “draw a picture in your mind,” that is, to have a plan. Draw a concrete picture, not a vague plan. If you draw a picture concretely, you will work hard and prepare today, and your dream will finally come true. It is important to draw a picture in your mind. The late Joo-Young Jeong said, <My dream is to see Korean cars and ships cruising across 5 oceans and 6 continents in the world> That dream came true 50 years later.
The second is prayer. A plan or dream is what I draw and have. It is God who makes that dream come true. God oversees, regulates, and fulfills our dreams.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 "Thus says the LORD who does the work, the LORD who made it and fulfills it: Call to me and I will answer you
The third is “actualization,” that is, the word to act. When Elijah calls Elisha, Elisha is pulling the oxen and plowing the field. At that time, Elijah said, “Follow me.” Elisha stopped what he was doing, went home, broke the plow, slaughtered cattle, gathered the townsfolk, laid a feast, and followed him. No matter how difficult the path of a prophet may be, he expressed his resolve that he would not return to his hometown as a failure. So, as a prophet, I was able to fulfill my will.
If you expect to be rewarded, you must show it in action. The Apostle Paul “runs for the reward that is ahead.” No one can stop such a person. Such a person never gets tired of life.
Everyone! Let's work hard To do that, first of all, we pray that we expect to receive a reward from God.
2. The goal must be clear
The Apostle Paul “runs toward the target.. for the prize” in verse 12 “runs to seize the one that was caught by Jesus” in verse 13 “I do not think that I have caught it yet” in verse 14, “run toward the target.. Goes"
The reason that the Apostle Paul ran so non-stop is to sow the seeds of the gospel.
It was planted today for the reward to be given in the future heaven. And to save a soul, he ran and diligently planted. Not satisfied with meeting Jesus, he ran nonstop every day for mature spiritual growth. And to fulfill the purpose of that calling from the Lord, he ran and ran.
Everyone! Who have you decided to evangelize to this year? Have you set a goal? That way you will be able to work hard in evangelism. In the service of service (evangelism), I pray that at least one person will set a goal this year and evangelize with a burning heart like Paul.
Ladies and gentlemen, the noblest duty of a believer is to live hard. In February, I hope that you will be able to live a life that runs every day with the same heart as the apostle Paul. If you work hard to accomplish God's will with expectation, hard work and clear goals, the Lord will guide your path and life.
