Title Philippians 03:13 In him who strengthens
Content Philippians 3:13
What a person thinks in life is very important. A person has a dream within the category of what he thinks, makes a plan to achieve the dream, and makes an effort according to the plan, and the dream comes true as a crystal of effort.
If you have positive thoughts, you will accept everything positively, so whatever barriers arise, you must overcome them with patience. However, when you have negative thoughts, you easily stop or give up easily because you take everything negatively. All of the people who did great things in history were people with positive thoughts, and even in the Bible, people with good faith were people with positive thoughts. In a word, faith is affirmation.
Let me introduce an anecdote about the power of positivity of Hyundai E&C Chairman Chung Ju-young, who was shown in front of former President Park Chung-hee in 1975. That summer, President Park hurriedly called Chairman Chung to the Blue House. And he said that he would like to go to the Middle East right away because there are people who say they can't work even though they have a good opportunity to earn dollars. He also said that if Chairman Chung said no, he would give up too.
Chairman Chung was surprised by the sudden remark. "Sir, what do you mean?" President Park answered. "Due to the 1973 oil crisis, Middle Eastern countries are unable to control the dollar. They want to build social infrastructure with oil dollars, but it seems that no country is willing to do the construction because it is too hot. I have been trying to work in Korea. After sending the officials, they came back after two weeks, and what they were saying was that it was too hot to work during the day, and the country could not work because there was absolutely no water for construction work.”
Upon hearing this, Chairman Chung went straight to the Middle East. And after five days, he came back and stood in front of President Park. “Sir, if you are intelligent, you say Gamcheon, so heaven seems to help our country.” Chairman Chung explained to President Park that the Middle East is the best region for construction work in the world. Chairman Chung said that the Middle East does not rain for 12 months a year, so construction can be carried out all year round, and materials are easy to procure because sand and gravel are on site. . And if you bring water, there is no problem. After listening to Chairman Chung's words, President Park ordered the chief of staff to support whatever the government could support.
As President Chung said, Koreans slept during the day and worked with torches at night. In those days when dollars were scarce, 300,000 workers flocked to the Middle East, bringing dollars into Boeing 747 special flights. The torch of the desert was a torch of positivity. Positive makes everything possible.
Outside of faith, the power of positivity produces miracles, but what about within faith in Almighty God? Nothing is impossible.
In Mark 9:23, Jesus said to the father of the boy who had a demon who doubted Jesus' power, "If it is possible, what do you mean? Nothing is impossible for those who believe." In Philippians 4:13 Paul said, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." I pray that you will win your life with the positive belief that I can do everything in the one who gives me strength.
