Philippians 4:4-7
Therefore, in order for us to be at peace, first of all, we must not be anxious. If he continues to cling to matters, he is a prisoner of concern. Not only that, but to keep worrying without getting out of it means that we do not believe in the God who sets us free from our worries. This is unbelief in God. Anxiety itself is not a sin, but continuing to worry is a sin. Because it is our disbelief towards God.
Second, the Apostle Paul said to pray. To pray earnestly means to pray continually, continually. There are other, more important purposes beyond answering prayers. It is our personal relationship with God. If Almighty God answers once and for all, it's all over, but there's a reason the Lord doesn't deal with us that way. It is because we can know the heart of God through our gazes toward God, touching the hem of His robe, and supplication that pours out our pain and anxieties, tears and sighs before God while we converse with Him.
Finally, the apostle Paul tells us to give thanks. It teaches the importance of a grateful attitude in approaching the Lord to solve problems. To all who go out to God, the psalmist said, "Enter in with thanksgiving, and open the door with thanksgiving." For those who know the true meaning of prayer, even anxiety becomes a matter of thanks. Because it is through that concern that we come to know the heart that God requires personal fellowship with. Peace is the most essential blessing of life. Peace is the gift of a good heart. Evil thoughts disturb the peace of mind. It is a delusion to wish for peace without emptying the mind. Sin and peace are always connected. So, having peace of mind is really important. Peace of mind is like the morning star, and all virtues are like the sun. Just as the morning star sets and the sun rises, all virtuous deeds spring from the peace of mind. For those who feel uncomfortable, all the results are bound to be bitter fruits.
Now, for a peaceful life, please open your heart wide to the love of God who wants to have fellowship with us, and put up your problems. Then the peace of the Lord will fill your heart, saying, "I give you peace, and do not be anxious, for it does not give as the world gives."
