Philippians 4:8 The Blessing of Thought
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are godly, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are praiseworthy, if there be any virtue, if there is any praise, think of these things.”
A thinker may think of the work (1880) of the French sculptor A. Rodin (1840-1917). Among God's creations, there is a clear difference between all things and man. It means that man is a thinking creature.
It is probably because of our ability to think that humans enjoy the benefits of civilization and culture. Other animals cannot think, but man has received from God the superior ability to think and think.
It must be the greatest gift God has given to mankind.
There is a word used by some telecommunication companies these days. It's called 'T as you think'. This word has a powerful power to capture and attract people's thoughts.
Everyone living in this world is thinking and living. No one will ever live without a thought. The question will be, 'What do you think?' Because each person has a different opinion, the difference in thinking can cause dissonance, and sometimes they cheer while maximizing production while thinking the same thing.
Even in the church community, we cry because of our differences of opinion and laugh and be happy because of the unity of our thoughts. The same is true at home. And in your own mind, this principle is at work. So, there are conflicts, worries, and hardships.
We can live a happy life if we think well, but it is impossible to know how many people around us live an unhappy and regretful life with just one wrong thought.
If we can reduce the difference in thinking, our lives will be able to lead a truly happy life. How? If there is one, it will be a thought that can respect each other's thoughts. If we respect your thoughts and mine, wouldn't it be possible for each other's thoughts to exert beneficial power? If there is another, wouldn't it be more beneficial and fruitful of good thoughts if we try to think the same way?
If there is one more thing, it is to have a good idea. A good idea is to think of Jesus first. The thoughts that Jesus loves me, the thoughts that Jesus comforts me, the thoughts that Jesus likes me, the thoughts that Jesus saved me, the thoughts that Jesus helps me, the thoughts that Jesus is with me and heals and restores me. If you do, your thoughts will combine to create a beautiful garden of thoughts.
Going one step further, when we all have thoughts of being filled with the Holy Spirit, of good and loyal servants, of building up the Church of God as a church pleasing to the Lord, of praying, praising, serving, serving, and devoting ourselves, milk and honey will flow. The beautiful garden of the Lord will become the field of our lives.
Since we have been blessed to live as holiness people, if we think and think again and again that we should live as sanctified people for the rest of our lives, this river and mountain will be colored into a sanctified garden, and all people will breathe in the beautiful wave of sanctification to become a holy God. The kingdom of will come to our side at some point.
When I think of the joy of living a sanctified life when the bridegroom, Jesus Christ, arrives, I get excited and dance of faith is another kind of happiness that the Holy Spirit gives me.
At the very precious and important time at the end of the year, if we all think well and live, we will spend the winter warmly in the arms of the Lord.
