Title Power/Phil 4:13
Content Power/Phil 4:13
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
Philippi is a Greek city named after Philip, the father of Alexander the Great. Rome is in Italy. The Philippians from Greece came from afar and gave condolences to them. In receiving it, Paul is saying, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." The level of Paul's words is far from what we think.
“I rejoice greatly in the Lord, that what you thought of me now sprouts again.
You also thought about it, but did not have the opportunity. I am in need.
I'm not saying this because I'm not saying this, but I've learned to be content in all circumstances.
I know how to be in need, I know how to abound, I am full and hungry in everything
I have learned the secret of abundance and abundance and want, and I have learned the secret through him who strengthens me.
can do all things, but you have shared in my afflictions.
Well done, Philippians, you know that in the beginning of the gospel I
When I left, there was no church other than you who had a part in my giving and receiving.
Even when I was in Saloni, you sent me once or twice for my needs.
Not asking for water, but for the fruit to multiply for your benefit.
I have all and have abundantly; on the part of Epaphrodi, I receive what you gave me.
Therefore I have an abundance, an acceptable fragrant offering, pleasing to God.
my God according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus
He will supply all your needs. Glory to our God and our Father for ever and ever.
Amen (Philippians 4:10-20)"
First of all, Paul is deeply grateful for their interest and love. But Paul's concern goes beyond that. 'What you brought to me is glad for yourselves that you participate in this and the work of God, but to me this is nothing. For I can do all things through him who strengthens me.'
“I am not saying this because I am in need, but under any circumstance I wish to be content.
Weeping (Philippians 4:11)"
'Why are you self-sufficient?' I know how to be wretched and I know how to abound, so I know all the secrets of being able to cope with both hunger, abundance and poverty. Because I know for sure that I can do all things through him who strengthens me. To the Apostle Paul now, 'the way he is going is a path that cannot be helped by the things of the world'. It also means that they are not disturbed by 'things of the world'. “I have learned to be content in all circumstances. I know how to be humble, and I know how to abound. I have learned the secret of being satisfied in all things, and of hunger, abundance, and want.” I am saying that it is done through him who gives me strength, and not according to worldly things or principles. Abundance and poverty have nothing to do with abundance

“Are they Hebrews, so am I, and are they Israelis, so am I?
Are they Abraham's seed, so am I? Are they Christ's servants?
As I say, I am even more so, that I have toiled too much and thrown into prison.
I was beaten many times, and I almost died many times, so I bought it from the Jews.
Five times I was beaten with rods less than one ten, three times with rods, once with stones, three times
He spent a day and a night in the depths on several shipwrecks, and on many trips the danger and robbery of the river.
perils, perils from my own people, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea
in dangers and in dangers among false brethren, and toiling and toiling, many times unable to sleep
I was hungry and thirsty, hungry many times, cold and naked” (2 Corinthians 11:22-27).
Usually, this confession is made after success. But under what circumstances does Paul do it? He said, 'I was only suffering through this, but in the end it really broke down. Nevertheless, he confesses, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." A great secret is hidden here. The way we go is hampered by the world. The reason for the hindrance is that the driving force and power of Christianity are the things of the world.
“Rejoice in the Lord always, I say again, rejoice, for all your generosity
Let everyone know, for the Lord is near” (Philippians 4:4-5).
“I want you to know, brethren, that what happened to me was actually progress in the gospel.
Nora For this reason my bond is with the guards and all others who come in Christ.
appeared to me, because many of my brethren put their trust in the Lord because of my bondage.
I have come to speak the word of God more boldly and without fear” (Philippians 1:12-14).
In 1 Timothy there is this record. “The love of money is the root of all evil.”
Money is the best way to make something possible. But like Paul's confession, I

It is not a means to create something. In that dimension, what is it that I can't create what I want? It is spiritual. Being rich doesn't mean going to heaven. In that sense, if you have a love for money, that person is not a believer. The confession of 'the one who gives me strength' with love for God should be the basis. If we are caught by the love of money and the creation of money, we can say that he is not yet at the level of a believer. In that sense, this ability makes us 'an unbreakable ground,' no matter how the world scratches us.
Those who forsake the way of God's glory should keep in mind that the way of God's wrath is prepared before him. The Lord calls us only to the work to which God is glorified, and trains us to do it. It is only when we fall and see that we are grounded in money, health, fame, etc., that we know that what we are called to is not of this world. So, God may have led Paul's life in such a difficult way for the countless generations of believers who would follow him in order to prove that the ground for his faith, joy, and victory was not of this world.
