Prayer is essential

Mark 11:22-24 '22. Jesus answered them and said to them, "Believe in God. 23. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will be done, it will be done for him.

24. Therefore I say to you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours' - Amen.

There is prayer in all religions, and there is prayer and devotion in folk beliefs. It proves that one cannot lead a religious life without prayer. Christianity is said to be a religion of prayer, and it is based on the fact that the life of the Lord Jesus was full of prayer and the apostles did missionary work through prayer. I would like to share a message about whether it is essential under the title <Prayer is essential>.

1. Because I believe

In other words, you will pray as much as you believe. When you hear the message and ask if you believe in God's covenant, if you answer "Amen", then nothing will happen naturally just by knowing that and trusting God, but only by asking God for work to happen.

Text Mark 11:22-23 ‘22. Jesus answered them and said to them, "Believe in God. 23. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, believing that what he says will come true, it will be done for him."

Matthew 7:8 ‘For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

2. To prevent Satan's work and win

Mark 11:23 “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to Isan, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, believing that what he says will come true, it will be done for him.” Mountains can be compared in many ways. It is said that if you believe in and pray for a mountain of sins, it will be solved. However, this mountain-like problem is what Satan is claiming, so we have to pray and win.

The difference between believers in Jesus Christ and unbelievers is that they know the existence of Satan and what kind of situation the human spirit is in. Existing devils are not lazy, they are constantly testing the saints and trying to destroy them. That is, we must pray so that we can fight and overcome Satan.

1 Peter 5:8-9'8. Be sober and watchful, your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

From the beginning to the end of the world, from the beginning to the end of the world, not only do Satan corrupt the world, but he does his best to obstruct the blessed life of the saints. That's why we pray so that we can win the test.

3. If you do not pray, your spiritual eyes will become dark.

At the time of Jesus, the Jewish lawyers were knowledgeable about God. But even though they knew it, they were people who did not properly worship God. Jesus rebuked their superficial religious life, and compared their spiritual state by analogy, Matthew 15:14 “Leave them alone, they become blind and guide the blind. If the blind guides the blind, they will both fall into a pit.”

The disciples eroded with Jesus for three years and heard, learned, experienced, and participated in amazing things. But they were weak and could not do anything right on their own.

After the Lord ascended to heaven, we prayed hard to receive the Holy Spirit as prophesied, and when we were filled with the Holy Spirit, evangelism and martyrdom were possible. The appearance of the apostles in the 4 Gospels and those who are active in the book of Acts are very different, because in Acts you can see that prayer became a daily life.

Acts 3:1 You can see that “At the ninth hour, when Peter and John went up to the temple,” prayer was set as a daily routine and became a daily routine. The Lord prayed every day and prayed even at the moment of His death on the cross.

Prayer is a very important foundation for maintaining, brightening, and growing the spiritual state of the saints. It is an essential element like oil in a car, and the biblical meaning of the term prayer is breathing with God. If you don't breathe, you die.

Through prayer breathing with God, the spiritual condition of the saints becomes brighter. In times of great political affliction and difficult circumstances, there were many times for prayer and earnestness. Because it is easy to live, there are fewer prayers and fewer worship groups.

What is clear is the fact that Satan enters deep into our religious life and makes us indolent so that we become spiritually weak. This should be seen as an era of more dangerous crisis than war.

Why should we pray? Because being a saint does not automatically receive grace, but if you believe, pray as you believe and you will receive it.

This is because prayer is essential and the best way to overcome the temptations of Satan, who seizes and deceives the living self with the sinful nature, and to win victory by making the right choice in everything with a bright spiritual eye.

How much time do you have for prayer in a day? If you are busy, make time for yourself as you are busy, arm yourself with prayer and brighten your spiritual eyes, I pray that you and I will live a victorious life with the Lord.
