Introduction
As long as it is not a gold medal, there is no way that there is no response even after receiving grace. And the attitude of the recipient towards the giver cannot be arrogant and disrespectful. If you are arrogant and arrogant, this is an ungrateful attitude and you will surely be punished.
So what kind of attitude should a person who has received God's grace take?
1. You will come to know the disposition of God (verse 5).
“The Lord is gracious and righteous, and our God is merciful”
Those who have received God's grace will understand God's disposition first. Thus, with trust in God, he thinks of serving only him, and he takes the attitude of living for his glory. It was because I knew and was moved by his character. This is because grace is not conditional giving, but unconditional love. It is said that the disposition of God is gracious, loving, and merciful. We cannot help but take an attitude to glorify God by being impressed by his character.
2. You will know the grace you have received. (Verses 6-8)
“The Lord protects the simple. When I was poor, he saved me. My soul, the Lord has been generous with you, so take your heart. Lord, thou hast delivered my soul from death, thou hast taken away tears from my eyes, and have kept my feet from staggering.”
The psalmist knew what grace he had received. It means that God has been hospitable to his soul and has given him peace. And He delivered us from death, He made us weep and He made us not fall. So he took a grateful attitude. This is the attitude the person who has received grace will take.
3. You realize the need to reciprocate (verses 12-14).
“With what can I repay all the grace that the Lord has bestowed upon me? I will raise the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord. All the vows made to the Lord will be fulfilled in the sight of all the people.”
This is the right attitude of a person who has received grace. When you receive grace, you will always have a heart to repay the grace, and if you do, you will have an attitude to repay it with actions. However, today's saints do not know how to be grateful even after receiving a lot, but rather ask for and when their needs are not met, they take an attitude of resentment and complaining. This is incorrect. Therefore, we too have received many graces from God, so we should repay his grace by praising and giving thanks.
conclusion
Today's saints all received the same grace. Therefore, we must know His disposition, be touched by His disposition, remember once again what kind of grace he has received, and take an attitude to repay that grace.
