Title Psalm 119:147-1 David's Secret

When many people see a person who has won in faith and a person who has succeeded in life, they envy, saying, “I wish I could be like that too.” But the important thing is that there is a secret to his victory and success, which is that he is indifferent to victory.

The text introduces the secret of the victory and success of David, the second king of the unified kingdom of Israel. One reveals that David was a man who prayed at dawn. In the New Translation of the Bible, it is written, “I cry before dawn,” and in the New Version of the Bible it is written, “I cry before dawn.” David's conversation with God before starting the day is a part of what kind of person he is. He was convinced of God's help at dawn. He confessed, “In the morning God will help” (Psalm 46:5), “In the morning, O LORD, you will hear my voice; in the morning I will pray to you and hope” (Psalm 5:3).

The Bible tells the story of God's deliverance of the people of Israel from being pursued by the Egyptian army in front of the Red Sea. "In the morning the Lord disturbed the Egyptian army in the midst of a pillar of fire and cloud, and took off the wheels of their chariots and made them extremely difficult to run" (Exodus 24:24-25) is recorded.

The Bible introduces in detail those who prayed at dawn in a crisis and the hand of God who helped them.

Also, David was a man who meditated on the word of God at dawn. He confesses, “I have waited for your word, and my eyes were awake before the night was deep to meditate on your word” (Psalm 119:148). In the Revised Standard Version, when he confesses, “I woke up at dawn to meditate on Your word quietly” (verse 148), it is revealed that he was also a person who always meditated on Your word at dawn.

As evidenced by this, David confessed at the beginning of Psalm 1, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but meditates on the law of the Lord day and night.

Like David who prayed at dawn and meditated on the Bible, let us also have the secret of victory that made David David.
