Introduction
In the world we live in, some are educated and some are uneducated, some are rich and some are poor, some are healthy and some are sick. Not only that. There is a difference between high and low status, and there are many classes in many ways. However, those who are illiterate, poor, and of low status are always despised and despised. But those who are despised have no appeal.
What should we do when we are despised?
1. We must look to the Lord (verse 1).
“Lord, who reigns on the throne of heaven, I lift up my eyes to look up to you.”
2. We must look to the Lord for help (verse 2).
“Like a servant’s eye on the hand of a master, like a servant’s eye on the hand of a mistress, our eyes look up to the Lord our God, wanting the Lord to have mercy on us.”
This means that male and female slaves can be set free in the world according to their master's will, or they can be abused even more or even die. In other words, the life or death of a slave depends on the master. Likewise, the future problems of the despised depend on God in heaven. That is why it is most important to seek God's help. God can make you high or low, rich or poor (1 Samuel 2:6-10). That is why we only look to the Lord's help. It will be according to his beliefs.
3. We must look to the mercy of the Lord (verses 3-4).
“Lord, have mercy on us. Have mercy on us. I've been despised so much. Our hearts overflow with the ridicule of those who live in peace and the contempt of the arrogant.”
The way to ask for God's help is to ask for mercy because you can't afford to be despised and despised in the world. God knows the situation all too well. So this is an appeal to you for help. It is knowing that God does not discriminate between the rich and the poor and loves justly. So it is asking God. In other words, God's comfort and startling miracles accomplish the work of putting the illiterate and poor to shame and the learned (1 Corinthians 1:26-29).
conclusion
In the world, you are despised and despised, but if you appeal to God, God's comfort and miracles will put you to shame. Therefore, we should not be discouraged by thinking only about our own situation, but we should appeal to God and perform wonderful miracles so that the wonderful works of putting shame on those who despise will be revealed.
