Introduction
What are the servants of the Lord to do? It goes without saying that the servants of the Lord must live as God wants them to be. Let's just think about it as shown in the text.
What does the Lord want from us?
1. We must sing in the temple (verse 1).
“Bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who stand by night in the house of the Lord.”
It is very precious to be awake at night to praise Jehovah while giving thanks for the mission God has given us.
2. We must pray in the temple (v. 2).
“Looking at the sanctuary, raise your hands and bless the Lord.”
It means to pray with all your heart. In any case, all the servants of the Lord pray for in the temple (Acts 6:4-5)
3. You must be blessed in the temple (verse 3).
“May the Lord who made heaven and earth bless you from Zion!”
God blesses His servants who work in the temple. Therefore, servants of the Lord must give up the thought of going elsewhere and receive blessings, and only work in the temple, pray, and sing songs to receive blessings. If you try to do other things to receive blessings, God will not give you. Those who love Jerusalem prosper (Psalm 122:6).
conclusion
The Lord's servants work for the temple, work for the saints, and die, but they must receive blessings from the temple by offering praise and prayers in the temple.
