Introduction

God is a good God. Thus, while claiming for human life and death, He is a very kind God who is not ignorant of human weakness and difficult problems and gives necessary grace.

How will God be kind to us?

1. He does not shake the earth (verse 5).

“The Lord has established the foundation of the earth so that it will not be shaken forever.”

This means that the crust (the outer shell of the earth) in which we live is not shaken. In other words, it was strengthened so that it would not be shaken by seawater or floods. This cannot be called God's kindness. If the Earth's crust shakes, humans cannot live on Earth. But God has been kind to humans so that they can live on Earth.

2. He did not let the water overflow (verse 9).

“The Lord has set boundaries and will not let the waters go over it, and will not let the waters come back and cover the earth.”

If God allowed water to overflow and cover the earth, humans could not live on the earth. However, he made it appropriate so that human beings would not have any difficulties in their lives, because of the kindness of God who loves people very much. Water is essential for human beings, but if it is supplied too much, it will be flooded and unable to survive. But God made it appropriate and did not allow the water to overflow and cover the earth.

3. He provides everything you need (verses 10-15).

“The Lord makes springs of water spring up in every valley and flows from mountain to mountain, and all the beasts of the field drink, and the thirsty donkeys quench their thirst. The birds of the sky also make their nests by the spring, chirping among the lush leaves. He waters the mountains from the heights of the pavilion, and the land is satisfied with the fruit the Lord has produced. You made grass for the wild animals to grow, you made people plowing for vegetables, and you made the land find food. He gave them wine that made their hearts happy, gave them oil to make their faces shiny, and gave them food that gave them strength.”

This is God's kindness to mankind.

conclusion

God is so kind that He provides what humans need even without a request. Water, air, sunlight. These are common graces. Other than that, He gives us many things. He sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to make us children of God and to enjoy eternal life. Thank you for this love of the Lord even at this time.
