One). Heaven testifies of the glory of God. (One)
※ “Heaven” represents the cosmic inclusivity, and “the firmament” is defined as the realm that people can see.
※ The evidence of nature ① Heaven praises God. ② Teach people by praising God.
※ Nature not only serves as the environment God has provided for humans to live and live,
It has a reason for being that reveals to humans the attributes of God's glory.
※ If people see all the beings of the heavenly bodies and meditate on the splendor of God in them, they cannot help discovering God's workmanship and have no choice but to praise God. (Romans 8:18-20)

※ People benefit from the light, and through that light look to the sky and the firmament that provides it.
※ People will never know the depth and breadth of the night sky, so they will be amazed and in awe.
※ “The day spoke to the day, and the night imparted knowledge to the night.” The expanse of the day visible to the human eye and the sky at night, which can only be guessed as wide as the human eye, represent the subject of power, God, and the knowledge of Him.
※ Day and night are the transmission mediums of God's unchanging revelation.
① You are speaking in an inaudible voice. “No language, no sound”
* Because God's operations (day and night) are unchanging and certain, man can rest assured of
can live
② You are speaking in an audible sound. “His voice goes through all the earth, and his word speaks.”
* Sensitive people hear that sound, the language of God that spreads throughout the universe (they have ears to hear).
※ Those who can hear the testimony of God and truly understand His meaning are those who go beyond understanding God's glory through nature and know God in God's law.
3). The sun reveals the glory of God. (4-6)
※ The sun's glory as a creature reflects, at least in part, the incomparable glory of God, the only Creator.
The poet observes the fact that it reflects.
※ “God has put a tent in the sky for the sun” is an anthropomorphic expression. At the end of the day, returning to his tent and resting, the sun rises again in the morning from the east, like a lively young man who comes out with great joy, “with the bridegroom out of his chamber.”
※ “Like a merchant who rejoices in running his path” It refers to the energy of the sun running from east to west all day long.
※ The poet observed the periodic movement of the sun through daily observation, and as a result, he was able to read the power and wisdom of God engraved in the energetic and periodic movement of the sun.
2. The characteristics of God revealed by the law. (7-11)
※ God's self-revelation toward humans is unilaterally revealed through nature, but in particular, it is clearly revealed through the Word of communion with humans, that is, the law.
※ “God” represents God as the Creator of nature, and “Jehovah” as the One who gave the law.
※ “Jehovah” is the name revealed as “the God of redemption and covenant.”

④ The commandment of the Lord (8). ⑤ The way to fear the Lord (9). ⑥ It will be explained with Jehovah's ordinances (9).
2). The law is the most valuable thing in the life of a believer. (10-11)
※ The law is the most valuable thing in the life of a believer.
① It is compared to “pure gold” and “golden honey” (10).
* “Pure gold” is the most expensive and precious, and “Honey Honey” is very warped and difficult to obtain.
② The law gives benefits and blessings. (11)
* As a “Servant of the Lord,” he received the warning (passive) of the law he had received and was rewarded for keeping (actively). The law is something to be obeyed, but in addition to that, the reward is grace.
※ The law gives believers the insight to evaluate their condition before God.
※ Obedience to the law is based on covenant love for God. The more deeply they know the love of salvation, the more the believer follows the law, the word of God, with joy and joy.
3. Humble self-awareness and prayer. (12-14)
※ It expresses the humility that a poet who feels God's majestic glory through the mysteries and vastness of nature, and who fears God through the perfect and holy law, looks at himself.
One). A real reward is given. (12-13)
※ He testified that he received a great reward, an active blessing that comes from following the law. (11)
※ For this grace given by the law, the greatest reward was not only material, but also spiritual.
I have experienced heavenly rewards and hope to do so in the future.
* They are ① freedom from transgression (12) ② liberation from willful sin (13).
* A transgression refers to a sin committed unconsciously. It refers to a sin that you are not aware of.
2). Desire to be a full witness. (14)
※ Just as Heaven has become an unblemished witness of God, now, he wants his “words of mouth and meditation of his heart” to be “accepted before the Lord” to become a clean witness to God.
※ God, who has shown dignified power, wisdom, and righteousness through nature and the law, is a holy and great One that humans cannot approach, but only because of His amazing grace, He allows us to accept and fellowship with lowly humans. . (Romans 11:33-36)
